I was about to get this for my brother's PC build, but the PSU space and the single slot video card swayed me away. However, I am also going to build a computer for my mother with no video card (just the integrated on the i5), for which this case is perfect for. Was going to get this case full price in the near future, but no waiting now after this deal.
whats the problem with psu space? does this not take a regular size psu?
VGA Card length: 180mm
PSU length: 140mm
CPU cooler height: 70mm
My brother wanted a portable gaming PC, so he needs a beefy graphics which in turn needs a beefy PSU. He got the Corsair HX650 which is 160mm length so that one wouldn't fit on the case.
If you just want a sleek looking case and a computer used for home entertainment and not ultra graphics, then this case would work great. Use those compatibility sizes I posted. There are plenty of PSU in the 500w or less that will easily fit no problems.
Well, that lack of usb 3.0 is just 2 ports in the front. You still get the ones in the back that come with the motherboard you choose. I am going to get the ASRock Z77E ITX which has Display port and has great reviews. Just use the front ones for USB sticks where, rarely, I need the 3.0 speeds. For external hard drives, where it matters, connect at the back problem solved.
