White Clarisonic Mia 2 - $76 shipped

Got mine in the mail today. I've been comparing it to a mia (the one I ordered is a mia2 obviously)

They both seem to have the exact same things. I googled fake clarisonics, and typically they would have one or more of the problems below:

1. The plastic brush head cover does not say "Clarisonic"
2. When you remove the brushhead (by adding brush cover onto the brush head, then twisting off) the plastic ring does not have any of the patents, codes, whatever those things are
3. The ((S)) on the Clarisonic branding is lopsided/off centered and the (( )) is not centered on the S
4. The skin cleanser does not contain microbeads
5. Does not fully charged within 24 hours.

Curiously enough, mine does NOT have any of the above (I'm charging it right now, so we will see). I'll attach pics to this so you can see. The only interesting part is that my brush head seems "off". Some of the bristles look pulled out/loose, almost as if it were used. My box was a little beat up, and did seem opened. I have NOT registered it yet. I have tried interchanging the brushheads with the mia, but the mia2's brushead doesn't "fit" perfectly onto the mia. I thought they all have the same size brush head?

I compared the chargers, and the mia 2 had a much darker ink print (deep black letters vs grey) compared to the mia's. Don't know if that would make a difference either

Still waiting for mine...while refund has been posted on my credit card.

I received mine yesterday. I ordered two. They are both fake.

Yes, they are good fakes. As Chididdy123 mentions, the characteristics of a fake Mia that show up on Google may not be present. Eg. The cap of the brush head does have Clarisonic printed on it. But there are numerous other subtle differences.

And yes - the brush heads on ALL CLARISONIC models are interchangable, with the only exception being the body brush. I put an authentic Clarisonic brush head on the fake Mia2 and the lack of spinning was quite noticeable as compared to an Authentic Mia.

Sharing Spree has yet to respond to me. Very, very disappointed. And in addition - to hear that they have been known to distribute fake goods in the past (Naked palettes?!) this just makes me quite mad. Everyone should share their experience to warn others.

Also - just a note - my order was shipped from the following ( Persons Name ) at Doorstep Genius, Wilsonville OR.

I also have video but have yet to upload it. When I apply an AUTHENTIC Clarisonic Brush head to the Fake Mia - the brush does not spin much at all! It is very noticeable. I will upload this video if anyone is interested.

The carry case (white plastic cover) doesn't click together like the authentic one does. In fact, I have trouble getting my (fake) one to close at all. I also have video of this.

The charger should be drawn to the Mia due to the magnet. and should not fall off or spin around once connected. It should stay firm. My fake Mia2 will just let the charged drop off. I can shake my Mia(1) with the charger connected and nothing happens! (Also, a somewhat disturbing video of me shaking the Mia & Fake to illustrate the point is available )

Just to clarify too.. Registering them on the website does not indicate that they are real. Call Clarisonic with the number on the unit and they will be able to give you their opinion.

No label for me yet. I received the email saying I would be getting a refund today though, so that is progress. Sharing Spree says in the email that they will always "do the right thing" but in my opinion, doing the right thing isn't waiting until you are confronted and caught by each customer and then taking action. It would be to alert ALL of your customers as soon as you are aware there is an issue. Something they failed to do.

I still have not received my unit, but I e-mailed sharing spree asking for a refund due to these being fake. Several days later I received an e-mail from the COO stating these were not fake and that she loved hers that she bought from this deal. She then went on to explain that these were not warrantied because I got such a great deal. He then said I would need to return it in new condition and then I would be mailed a check once they received it. I told her that I would love to return it if I had it. I then asked for a tracking 3 and stated that clarisonic is saying these are fake. She then e-mailed me back stating I would get a refund in 72 hours and that a return label would be sent in a couple weeks and that they were all going out at the same time. I will not ever deal with this company again.

Disgraceful. It's very clear that they aren't letting up anything is wrong until they are pushed hard. And even then! The email I received references "the palettes"... Umn.. This was the last fake item (the Naked2 Palette) you sold - not the one I bought. It's not a case of a one time mishap with a supplier - its a pattern of selling counterfeit goods. And in addition, the way they have dealt with this is woeful. They sold 687 of these. To think that many people won't realize they received a fake until months from now when they try replacing the brush head is very sad.

Same problem here, total rookies. In the responding email they didn't get my name right and the person responding was different than the name on the email account. I would like to think they unknowingly got duped but they aren't getting in front of the situation and owning it.

I finally received mine today after waiting the full 4 weeks and a day! It states being shipped 2/1/2013 Priority Mail. As someone who owns a business Priority mail take 3 days but not 3 weeks! The box is ripped in every way and badly damaged. There are some purple marks on the item. Nothing about my unit indicates new or real.....It's sad as a first experience with this company. My credit has posted to my CC when I checked today

Am I the only one still waiting? Contacted with sharingspree and was told it will arrive in some days....speechless...

The web requires me registering before browsing, however, I want to see the details first.

I still have not received mine yet either. I contacted them regardless asking for a refund. Told I would get it in 72 hours.
