im wondering if the price will drop even more within the next 3 or 4 months. i can wait if that is the case. 2011 models are still pricey on amazon though

Costco has this tv for 1749.99 and free shipping.

I think it will drop but maybe a few hundred bucks, but you won't be enjoying it 'till then  I always find myself waiting forever until I finally buy one because I'm waiting on a deal but then a better model comes out so I wait on that and before I know it, it's 2 years later and I'm tired of waiting. hmm...I don't think that is correct at least for Texas. I just purchased (not this TV) that has mfg discount and tax was on final price after discount. at least at my Costco in Plano,TX, perhaps tax rules are different elsewhere ?

This TV is a TRUE 240hz panel...not some scanning backlight simulation like the LG,Toshiba,panasonic etc TVs are |
