IF you are buying the DL software at the kiosk and PAYING AT THE REGISTER then you are gonna pay TAX... UNLESS youre in a tax free state.
IF you are paying for DL software online ..IE: ANYWHERE BUT IN A STAPLES STORE AT THE REGISTER then u dont pay tax.

Call 1-877-266-6483. I also tried via Chat first but they were less helpful. Phone call was no problem.

Also the check is just a post card, can't it be easily stolen? Sorry a little paranoid, but I'm having the rebate checks sent to my parents house & just want to make sure I won't have any issues.

Just endorse and deposit. Should not be any trouble unless your bank is enforcing unknown rules. No experience of checks being stolen.

Never had a rebate check stolen. Have probably been sent over 100 rebate checks in the last few years. Never any not received. Some in excess of $200. If you do not get a check you can ask after a certain period of time for them to issue a new check.

I have had only 1 "missing" check out of ??? over the years. Just call the rebate folks and they will issue another. Be careful when checking your mailbox too. These small postcard checks are easy to hide in/on other mail pieces. I've found a couple stuffed inside those weekly coupon bundles.

When available, I highly suggest choosing the PayPal option. Fast and convenient. My rebates from 1/3/13 have already been paid. If you don't want to link a bank account and/or are stacking mad rebates in PayPal, I'd suggest getting a PayPal debit card. It works as credit or debit and also pays 1% cash back.
