I'm a little confused by the $250 SYWR point deduction from the price. Is the OP indicating you should by a $250 GC so that the points are treated like a deduction against the purchase price?
If so, shouldn't it be more like $245 against purchase since GC routinely run a $5 fee? |

I just picked mine up from the store. I had $21 in SYWR points in my account to start. $850 - 21 SYWR (points I had already) - 25 SYWR ($25 bonus coupon for purchases over $150 at Sears, good 1/18-1/21) + 48 sales tax - 120 Kmart gift cards I had already = 732 out of pocket, put on Discover = 695.40 (when all is said and done plus I get my gift cards essentially "replenished" with SYWR points, which have already posted to my account. Then the 258,000 SYWR points to use at Kmart/Sears. 8000 + 250000 bonus All in all, a pretty good deal. Make sure that if you belong to SYWR to check your e-mail for the $25 bonus coupon. It all adds up in the end. Last edited by BostonGirl; 01-22-2013 at 12:35 PM.. |

Now I've had this problem and I've seen it posted on here before. Say you buy a $350 dollar camera and use $250 in rewards and $100 in cash to purchase it. Later you decide to return the camera, you'll get your $100 Back but in some cases you will not see those SYWR points back. The other scam they run is if you use SYWR points online and they cancel your order say goodbye to your points. This doesn't happen all the time but often enough that it is noticed. In some cases I've seen the problem resolved as well. This is a good deal found by the OP, if this was amazon I would have bought first thing. My first FP Slickdeal!!! UNSC ELEPHANT
My second! Hitman Deals of 2013 10 Coby 32" led tv's TRU $110. Ea 2x UNSC Elephant mega bloks TRU $45. Ea 6x halo mega bloks Phantom $16 ea |

If you happen to be a Lifetime Fitness member, you can use lifetime fitness rewards to buy Land's End giftcards for 15% off. Land's End cards work on Sears. The eGift cards are sent instantly to your email. Nice 15% off the top of the price, and doesnt reduce the cashback or the bonus points.
Nice additional savings. Heres how it would work out: 850 base price -127.50 (By paying the tv price in giftcards with 15% savings) -42 (5% from Sears Card) -48 (6% cashback) -250 (Sears Points) 382.50 + tax (you can use more giftcards to pay for the total including tax, so 15% savings on the tax as well) Last edited by distraught1; 01-20-2013 at 04:16 PM.. |

1. Look at the price 2. Its an LG...while they represent a good value...they are never the pinnacle of picture quality...which should be the highest priority The TV is a good deal.....but have the right expectations about what you are buying |

those statements about the SYWR are not true if you use them and they cancel your order..you get the points back if you return something you get the points back in your rewards account you might do some research before you post |
