To each their own, no point in ranting about brands and pricing - that's capitalism. No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to spend money on "expensive" clothing. For North Face items, this is a good deal considering regular retail prices. You can stick to Costco's Kirkland's clothing if you are on a budget.

A lot of North Face items look good to me. Plus, their items are high quality backed by a lifetime guarantee, does Nike have lifetime guarantees on their items?

The TriClimate are rip offs. Its just a fleece under layer over a softshell. You can get a fleece jacket just about anywhere for penies.

i totally understand paying overpriced stuffs for their brand name and no, i dont mind that at all. i bought my little brother a $300 Beat headphone for Christmas which i think is stupid but whatever, he's in highschool, these thing makes him looks cool and what not lol and at least those Beats look better than other headphones. Back to the topic of Northface, i swear i can find similar looking jacket (almost the same except the logo) at Old navy or gap for $30

Looks the same does not mean the product is the same. Anyone knows that Old Navy and North Face are completely different products even if they look the same to you.

Why are you on this thread if you're not interested in the North Face? You think you will dissuade people from buying name brand items because you think it's overpriced and can get cheaper alternatives? I'll gladly pay for North Face items at a discount with my hard earned cash.

And if you think about it like that, we all are overpaying for almost everything since no one works and exists for free. Products are made and sold with the intent for a profit.

IMO, i dont mind paying overpriced stuffs if they look good and better than other brands, Beats, apple stuffs which easily to spot...the problem i have with these is that they look just like those cheap ones at old navy and gap. So im paying $60 for the damn little logo and a little more fabric?
