so you are saying the materials of these worth 3-4x more than the cheap ones at old navy/gap? that i highly doubt.
Like I said, we are overpaying for everything if you think about, whether its housing, food at the restaurant, clothes or a car because no one works or exists for FREE. Unless you work for The North Face in finance/accounting, you really don't know their profit margins, all assumptions on your part.
You really going to crunch numbers and analyze every single purchase to see if you are not overpaying? LOL

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift. That's why they call it 'the present.'"
Thats what people who over pay for items have to tell themself. Same damn fabric. Just because it says North Face doesn't make the fabric special LOL
Lol, have you ever done any real outdoor activity with these cheaper brands. I bought a cheap ski jacket and bib from macys and the gap for my little kids. After 1 day of light skiing, and a couple of falls, her legs were soaked wet because the material was not water repellant enough. The cheap ski gloves we got from Academy Sports and outdoors also kept her hands cold and wet. That never happened with the north face and spyder pants and gloves the following year.
To compare material with a brand like Old Navy or any other cheap brands shows your ignorance truly.
It is more reasonable to compare with a brand like Columbia which is pretty decent in quality for less money. But even Columbia is not that cheap anymore on their upper level line. And when there is a sale like this, it makes the price difference almost neglible.
Some overpriced stuffs are worth it, like apple stuffs...
lol anyway bro i will stop the trolling, but i'm still not convinced these are worth their overpriced price
Not really, I have nothing Apple...you sound like one of those consumers who wants to keep up with the Jones and will purchase blindly for whatever the new trend is regardless of substance because you think you will be perceived as cool because of it, yet you're here ranting cluelessly about a brand's profit margins.

Anyway, back to the thread... I hope this Windwall jacket is nice. I like to roll the sleeves up and wear these casually when out. Since I'm in Texas, it's not really cold enough to get a Denali or anything bigger. First time going with a Windwall though.
