Ordered the 3 piece sharkskin grey suit and they all got shipped separately.

-Vest and Jacket came. Jacket is a lil snug in the arm but I'll manage.

-Pants got cancelled since they didn't have the sharkskin grey in 36x30.
- Emailed CS and responded that they'll honor the sale price if I call and order the pants a size up 38x32. I was going to have them tailored anyway so not a big deal.

-1st CS rep was a dick and was vehement that I could not get the original sale price and said a memo was going around saying not to honor it. Said the only way he would put the order through if I paid the full price $135 for the pants.

-Was like this is bs and called again 20 min later with a new rep. She was much nicer and processed my new order with the same sales price in a few min.

yea, if its an even exchange, they're shouldn't be any issues, that doesn't make sense...did you ask for a supervisor? alot of the times, the regular rep is too lazy and/or doesn't know how to do it, or what they are talking about...just call, ask to speak to the supervisor of the department, and also ask who the store manager is....they'll try and fix it for you, because they don't want it escalated to the store nor district manager...you're a customer just looking to get part of the suit that was included in the offer...its not like you're pulling a scam...i think someone here posted a copy of their receipt with personal info blacked out...just use that as proof...

I ordered it through the Macy's website, I have the e-mail traffic and things to prove it, I just went to the store yesterday to a new employee (the usual ones I buy from have no problem doing exchanges/etc) and she told me since the UPC wasn't on the e-mail confirmation, then I would not be able to re-order in store for the same price. I called after I got home and verified it was the same UPC. I'll call Macys corporate again and re-order online, as well as order locally from a different store. Hopefully one or the other will go through, if not then I will file a complaint for false advertising. It was pretty stupid that almost every store in my state has the exact same size (some with 6-7 in stock.)

EDIT: Apparently it was a price mistake for this item, and Macy's even went so far as to erase the pricing data for this particular item (lowest price recent was showing December for 47.99; my price was $16.88.) Really makes me mad that they would lie to consumers like that, and it doesn't make sense that some people had particular peices cancelled even though other colors went through just fine for that price. I'll try my luck in-store today and hopefully someone will be able to get it from another store and I'll just pay the same price + shipping cost if it comes down to it.

I am 5' 7" around 148lb avg build. I wear regular classic fit from jcp 38S fits nice. I orderd 2 sets one in 38s and other in 40S. 38s seems tight with button close, 40s looks little loose. I am confused, if slim fit suppose to be tight or am I better of keeping 40s instead?......i read on internet that for slim fit you need to order 2 size larger than regular...is that true? Please help.

I spent $50 to slim the pant legs, hem the pants for a half break, and tapered the jacket... this $100 suit looks SHARP now


$150 total spent for a well fitting suit isn't bad at all. I'll upload pics later, but I'd highly recommend the slimming of the pants at the very least. It does wonders for the overall slim look this suit should give.

5'10 about 170 lbs and got 38R jacket. Glad I didn't get 38S, as I think that would've been too short.

• Pics of pants with no jacket. They got caught on my socks so they crunched up a bit near the ankles, but whatever you get the idea.
• Pic of jacket buttoned. The shoulders could be narrowed IMO, but I'm not gonna gripe that much on a $100 suit. Added the tapered look and open quarters.

I cant even remember last time Ive been to a tailor..maybe 15 years ago? Dry cleaners maybe 5 years ago? I wont even both getting stuff hemmed and just return it.

I'm 5'11'' and 135lbs and I just received 36R jacket and 30/30 pants. It looks little baggy for me!

I never received my Grey Jacket and have been out of the country so I just called and spoke with Jennifer. She promptly re-ordered the jacket for me at the same sale price. No problem at all.

alright, so when I ordered the navy suit, the vest I needed was OS...so I went ahead and ordered a black vest....its been out of stock this entire time...I've been checking on stock and they've got a bunch of vests....so I tried to get it done at the store, and they were clueless...I called one time, and they were clueless, so I emailed them, and gave a pity request in order to get a color exchange from my order...got the email back and they said you can only do an even exchange due to the web id, but that they would place an order for me and honor the rate I paid... so all is good, and now I just need to return the vest for a refund either thru the B&M store, or via online..... sorry for the long post, but I just wanted to explain what all happened...
