Best Buy Coupon: $50 off $100+ In-Store Purchases via Printable Coupon (MasterCard Required)

Does anyone know if you can use this on actual Blurays? Not the players, the videos.

I did but had to dispute the fine print with several managers. They said they can't use it on any apple products. In the end one of the managers said "I did it with an iPad earlier" so the other managers begrudgingly honored it.

I visited my local BB during the lunch hour. I'll leave the location out to protect the innocent...

I wanted a Panasonic Blu-ray player, which is clearly not excluded by the coupon. I grabbed a clerk near the item and asked if BB would price match its own website, which was $22 cheaper than the in store price. He said yes. This put me just below the $100 mark, so I had to go and find a soda.

He tried to ring me up, and the coupon didn't subtract the $50 (surprise surprise). He said it was because Blu-ray players were excluded. I had to point out to him that only Samsung and Sony Blu-ray players were excluded.

Found a manager. Manager said he'd seen 10 of the coupons so far in the day, but for some reason felt compelled to call corporate to make sure it was legitimate. He tried to convince me to log into my email to show him the coupon. Hah.

Manager also tried to convince me how to read the coupon. I pointed out, again, that the coupon clearly only excludes Sony and Samsung Blu-ray players. Manager tried all kinds of other tricks, like offering a Blu-ray player that wasn't on sale, etc., etc. I told him I wanted the one I picked out (which makes sense, since the only other decent Blu-ray players are excluded because they're Sony or Samsung).

Finally, after corporate verified that it was a legitimate coupon, manager honored it. Manager was still on the phone with corporate when I left.

$54.xx with my soda and sales tax... and 30 minutes of my time.

It all depends on the manager who is called to approve the coupon.
It's not going to go through automatically. However, people are reporting success with iTunes GCs taking the coupon without approval.

The Best Buy in Main St. Flushing (Skyview Mall) is all go on Kindle GC. I did 2 deals. They have $50 GCs near the Kindle area by the laptops. Just bring change of cloth and a hat. There was only one checkout girl (very cute with nice ass) when I was there. I did one and got a free lunch at Five Guys and returned for one more. Will go back there tonight during my run for one more go. No override needed. No manager was called. I think if he was called, it would have been no go.
