more social commentary please
also someone who's "defending" best buy please tell me how I'm an immoral person for attempting to buy an item for 100 dollars that was not on the exclusions list of the revised coupon and how best buy was right to ask for my email and private information. yeah after they wanted that I left and left the 100 dollar item as well as other stuff that the coupon wouldn't be applied towards. Guess I stuck it to them by not giving them a single penny |

If OP posted the coupon, and another SD'er reported different coupon code and so on, would anyone even think about printing the coupon twice regardless of whether "1 person per coupon" or "No copies" were on it? Of course not.
I understand people have different morality and ethic standard. The fact is people made multiple copies because they knew they can get away with it. If they have to think like that, then it's obvious they knew they were doing something they weren't supposed to. I hope no one is stupid enough to think Best Buy would do this without restriction all week long. I'm not trying to defend Best Buy. Actually I was treated by my Best Buy stores with contempt when I tried to use this coupon. I pulled out my iPhone to show them the e-mails I received. I pulled up my rewardzone silver card. I tried to tell them they are pissing off one of their best customers who actually received the offer by mail. For one of the store I went to, I was a frequent customer and they already knew me by name. They still treated me like I was trying to rip them off. Best Buy is mostly at fault. But they are allowed to correct mistakes. I don't know why some people cannot accept that. Surely Best Buy handled this matter poorly. If you never received the e-mail offer, there is nothing to be upset with. If I were the one who made off with $12,000 worth of giftcards, I know I wouldn't want to show up again even if I wasn't blacklisted. If you received the offer, print out the e-mail and go to the store again. As someone said, if you talk to them nicely they might be able to do something as they did for me. |

I bit my tongue so hard to not let him know what I was thinking. That was super hard!!

So you mean SDers are exactly like Best Buy in the fact that they are in it for a profit? |

Dude, give up on your photocopy thing already. It's tired and well disproven. Last edited by travfar; 01-22-2013 at 12:36 PM.. |

Successfully bought some ink for my own printers yesterday at OD using the BB coupon. Came back today with copy of the original coupon that has valid date until the 27th. Tried purchasing GC but was told that no coupons allowed on GC. So just spent it on HP ink multipacks, as they are giving $10 GC on $49 HP ink purchase. Even wiith $50 off $100 BB coupon, I still qualified for the free $10 GC. I also would get another $5 back on OD rewards (10% on ink). Now, I just have to resell the HP cartridges to at least cover both purchases that I made. Last edited by pongaloids; 01-22-2013 at 12:36 PM.. |

I'd love to know the inside story on what happened.
It can't be that just 1 person signs off on BestBuy coupons?! To have not just 1 but 3 glaring omissions is strange! (no language about one per customer, gift card exclusions, and failing to make the coupon one-time use) |
