Best Buy Coupon: $50 off $100+ In-Store Purchases via Printable Coupon (MasterCard Required)

so obviously you had to use a Mastercard, or no??

Is this just valid at Staples for products that Best Buy sells or pretty much anything?

I need to make a return at Best Buy (by the way people, today is the last day for holiday returns there) and I need to buy something at the next-door Staples. I am wondering about the coupon but 1. I dont have a Mastercard and 2. I have never done this coupon-matching before.

I am already going to attempt price matching an item, as the item at Staples I wish to buy is $29.95 and at Bestbuy.com it is $19.95. I cant buy it at Best Buy BM though because it's only on the website. Never done that before.

Wondering if I should buy an MC giftcard and use it to buy even more stuff at Staples with the coupon or should I just let it go and get my $30 item for $20 and go home

And does anyone have a good list of Mastercard gift card purchase locations? That would be good to know for similar future deals....or maybe I should just get a Mastercard...does anyone know whch Mastercard cc is the best one to get? Thanks all.

Staples B&M does PM Best Buy B&M but might refuse to PM a product sold online only (per their stated policy). Also if you decide to purchase $100+ but Staples refuses your coupon, you'll have spent $4-$6 activating the MC gift card unncessarily. Might want to get an idea how flexible your Staples is and then move quickly if they're agreeable.

Just a thought but BBY is currently offering Free Shipping with no minimum purchase [bestbuy.com] if you don't need the item immediately and you prefer to purchase at BBY (perhaps because you're an RZ member). I can confirm this worked for me on a $19.99 item this morning. Good luck either way!

Wow, some of you guys are unreal. It's one thing to get a bargain. It's quite another to capitalize someone's mistake and make them pay dearly for it. You already know the coupon was a mistake from Best Buy, but you want other companies such as Staples to pay for Best Buy's mistake. I don't know if Staples sells giftcards.

Let me guess. If other merchants accepts Best Buy's erroneous coupon, it must be ok to do it again and again. I bet you there are mom and pops shop that would match coupons. Lets hit those stores too...

I guess this scam will never end util Jan 27. Maybe some of you can photoshop the coupon so it ends Dec 27. If they are stupid enough to take them, right?

I decided not to bother with this deal. There must be easier ways to save $50
