On top of that, the person who dropped her info didn't mention what her position is (I assume he doesn't know). It's very likely that she's just some second tier support rep. Probably in a more specialized department since she has her own direct phone number. It's very unlikely that she has very much 'pull' with the company. Many companies authorize certain level employees to offer certain types, and limits, of compensation. For example, a Tier 1 person might not be able to do anything without escalation, or possibly up to $25. A Tier 2 person might be able to go up to $50-$100. Anything higher might require Tier 3 or someone in a more executive management role. It's obvious that Elizabeth has some authority to give out compensation, but those types of things are almost always tracked. If her normal hand outs are 0-10 a day, and suddenly she gets hundreds of calls/emails for them, she would be a fool to be left holding the bag and authorize them. Because when her boss sees the report, and finds that she handed out 10-100x as much as everyone else, she would be lucky to have a job the next day.

Someone spends way too much time for $50! This reminds of one of my friends who sued an uninsured motorist in small claim court after the accident. The damage was covered by his insurance but he still wanted to recoup his $250 deductible.
He won the case................and felt good about it.................................til the defendant (the uninsured motorist) moved to another state and didn't pay him a single dime. Laugh! So much time and effort wasted, trying to recoup $250!!!!!! Give it up people and move on! But be prepared to laugh the day BB goes outta biz though! Last edited by DQue; 01-30-2013 at 08:54 AM.. |

If you do small claims you should only do it to make a point. Don't expect to be paid. Plus know who your suing. I mean if the person has no money do you think your goignt o be paid, how are they going to pay you? |

![]() Edit: They're planning on reselling these on ebay, right? I keep forgetting where I'm at sometimes, the den of thieves... any deal must be exploited for profit, while bitching about how corporations exploit people for profit. Last edited by Shinma; 01-30-2013 at 01:37 PM.. |

This actually ended up been even sweeter deal for me...
I originally bought a PS Vita Screen Protector, Gravity Rush (PS Vita), and the Vita 16GB memory card. Total after the coupon was applied was $65.xx. I went back today to exchange/return because I ended up getting PS+ and Gravity Rush is a free game. I exchanged the game for another and returned the 16GB memory card (got the 32GB with another use of this coupon). They ended up giving me a cash refund for the cost of the card $59.99 + tax which worked out to be $64.xx. So for about a $1 I got a PS Vita game and a screen protector. |

Nope, the Kindle gift cards work on anything sold and fulfilled by Amazon. So, it's pretty much 50% off Amazon products. Not everyone who got a ton of gift cards will be selling on eBay. Amazon has some pretty good stuff available. I just got a space heater from them (not with gift card) that's normally $40 + tax anywhere else for $25 ($30 - $5 Facebook promo) at Amazon. |
