It doesn't exclude mark-downed clearance items, nor does it say you can't use it with price matching.

I bought $650 worth last week. The cashier didn't know how to do it. I thought, oh gee, there probably is some exclusion. She called the GM, not floor manager because they were all off but he came to the register and said no were no exclusions. I bought 3 - $200 cards and one $50 card. There is a $5.95 per card fee.

I then went to www.giftcardmall.com/ and registered the card as having my home billing address (5 minutes)

I then did a upload of all the card to my upside visa prepaid card. www.upsideaccount.com and finally I atm'd the cash. The $650 turned into about $620 after all the associated fees. But I wanted cash to buy a couple new phones locally :-)

If you don't need cash use the Visa cards for purchases anywhere.

oh great!! repped! thanks so much Smilie

If it worked on bb gcs I would be tempted to get several and buy a tv, but alas I know that won't happen.
BB gift cards are specifically excluded in BB's website terms. Not on the coupon, but a search of the following website lists this. under the "Paying for you Order" paragraph.

My guess is that if this does get shot down by managers for any gift card purchases, that this is what they will be referencing, even though it specifies to "Best Buy gift cards," which i interpret as store-branded gift cards, and not gift cards of all sorts. Perhaps we should print this T&C to bring in out back pocket as backup? Or maybe stick the T&C in our pants' waist as "backup" hehe Smilie

Does anyone know that if you buy say 2 things that total $100 and you return 1 item. Will they refund you $50 or $25. Some stores calculate the percentage and take it off the item in case you return it. Other take it as a coupon after the total and it doesn't affect the price. One would know if you used a 10% off coupon. I know the rewards take a little bit off of everything so i would only assume they take a precentage off if returned.

wow....i think the best bang for the buck would be the amazon cards unless you want to buy overpriced electronics at BB...
if best buy is over priced then so is Amazon. You can price match Amazon at best buy.

Kindle gift card! Why do you want to buy that? To read books?!?!?

Just buy video games and energy drinks like the rest of us.
Because they are basically Amazon gift cards, in that once they're redeemed on Amazon, they can be used for anything, not just books.

I wonder if this promotion was targeted specifically for those who have their rewardzone Mastercard. Has anyone received the email that included the deal who doesn't have the RZ MC?

Though I can't believe BB is naive enough to think the info wouldn't get out. Not mention forgetting to add that restriction.

For those that got the email, is the barcode the same as the one in the OP?

No, it is considered a set top box and set top boxes are excluded under Home Theater.

I thought the set top boxes exclusion was for Sony. Comma vs. Semi-Colon

No mention of tablets yet in this thread? It doesn't seem to be a restriction on the coupon. Looking at a Lenovo 7" for $150.
