some folks have reported getting some Apple products, anyone try and successfully get Apple accessories like lightning cables and such?
I got an Apple TV but only with a stroke of luck. Three(!) managers came over to the register, two of whom maintained that not only are all Apple products excluded from any promotion like this, but that the coupon is only valid on single-item purchases worth over $100.

One of the managers told me she would honor it but then immediately acknowledged those restrictions, so I doubt that store will discount any more Apple products.

On a side note, one of the managers commented that these coupons have been causing lots of confusion all day. It's very likely that by tomorrow, all the stores will be on the same page regarding restrictions.

So there is a difference between Amazon GCs and Amazon Kindle GCs at BB correct? It seems that the Amazon Kindle GCs are working with no override, but not Amazon GC? Is that the latest?
Anyone can confirm on this?

At Arundel Mills MD, the coupon did not work so she just overrode the system and took 12.50 off each of ther 4 $25 Kindle GCs. Did not even check if I paid using a MC.

Does the system take off $50 on a GC purhase without a manager overriding it? I just tried and it kept coming out $0 off.

It will need to be overridden. Mine were added manually by the cashier. YMMV.

Which ones? $25 or $100?

So what's the word on the Amazon Kindle GCs are they working with no override or not? The Wiki mentions not working? Also are they working for any of the face value ones...$25...$100..etc. or just specific ones?

Just got $100 Amazon GCs for $50 with NO problem at Potomac Yard, VA store. Cashier did it by herself, no questions asked.

Idiot in front of me was making it complicated and trying to explain to the manager that he wants to make 8 separate transactions and blah, blah, blah. She was like what do you want buy...he was just holding the coupons..lmao.

BTW. Paid with VISA debit.

TY OP!
Coupon scanned fine with no override? Was this Amazon GC or Amazon Kindle GC?

So those that are doing multiple Amazon Kindle GC transactions are you checking out at different locations at BB to get different CSRs or same register?
Just to be sure, go to different registers. Then repeat but this time have your SO do it.

this might be a wrong time to ask, but why does best buy sell gift cards for a competitor like amazon?
WM and Target stopped selling Kindles and Amazon cards. I'm surprised BB still does.

They sell Kindle gift cards .. which are an accessory to the Kindle. Just happens that you can use it on non-kindle items also.

Went during lunch time, but the stubborn reps doens't give me gift cards. I was there for more than an hour. They won't accept multiple coupons. Finally, got 50$ off iPad.

This is in Greece, NY MadMad

I didn't try for gift cards at my Best Buy. I picked up the Intel 520 180g SSD for $199-20 ( Amazon price match at $179 ) -50 = $129 plus tax. I considered a 1T Western Digital Black for $99 ( plus a cheap filler ) for about $50 plus tax. There are some good deals to be had if you look around.

Is it easy to price match online store?
