I keep picturing the poor schmuck who legitimately got this email offer from his Mastercard and/or Best Buy, who pays no attention to places like Slickdeals or Best Buy's website and is going to waltz in there Weds or Thurs to redeem his coupon without a care in the world (since he presumably has until the 27th and will know no differently).

That should work out well for Best Buy's already stellar reputation.

I talked to two guys in line with me and they did not know anything about slickdeals and were let down by the coupon. One poor guy had the saddest look on his face walking out at night and he said typical experience always get let down.

Was just about to leave the house to hit the gym around 9am, when I thought, "Gee, there should at least be something trending on Slickdeals." Found this thread at page 4 and slickdealers were already looting the Best Buy on the East Coast. It was facinating, greed had seized me. Crazy

Families casually strolling to the gift card isle, were immediate enemies and I started grabbing in handfuls. Smack

I kept thinking of that 300 movie quote, "Give them nothing but take from them everything." Numchucks

At the end of the day, I sat in the parking lot and had a catharsis or spiritual release. Was it because I reached my goal, or from what I had become. Weeping

lol LMAO

But I think he still could of been serious because Best Buy does lobby the government I mean they spent lots of money to lobby Government to force online companies like Amazon to charge taxes.
Yeah and they are saying that you and I also do this. Smilie

Well I didnt get a nintendo 3ds xl for $129.99 but after the many revisions to the coupon for some reason the gaming hardware was removed from the exclusions. So the store manager at my local best buy agreed to accept the coupon but only with the condition that they ring up the xl at 199.99 because it says on the coupon its a no go on sale items. He was also very relieved that this coupon would only remain valid for today because he said it was a farking mess today.laugh out loud
Go for a price adjustment tomorrow. Try a dif store I'm 100% they'll refund u the dif ~ $22 including tax. What he did was not legal by any means. You can complain to corporate as well. The 3dsxl is $179 in their paper ad

Will Office Depot take Best Buy $50 off $100 MC coupon? Do they view Best Buy as a "competitor"? I always thought their competitors are Stapels and OfficeMax only.
They always have. Went to OD today after my ink purchase was denied at BB (apparently single item has to be $100). I handed OD cashier the coupon, manager nearby came over to put an override number, and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Could have gotten a VISA gift card there too, but I only had one coupon in hand. Nevertheless, I really needed the ink, so I was satisfied to go home not empty handed.

Lol 1% chance is all i needLMAO
yes its the burbs of the WA. I serious shit my pants when the cashier didn't blink and eye and applied the discount like secound nature. This was like 30min before closing and i was sure they got the memo or sumthin. I then told him about me needing a lot of books for travel and school so he let me do more since no line. I then got some more and brought to customer service and i didn't even use a master card i used my visa debit card. the second cs rep also took it off manually without manager override. I was going to do it earlier but was stuck at work. so this was great
NICE...wish I driven a bit further and tried my luck there Frown

haha, i was already thinking that but honestly he didnt even have to say yes in the first place. Even thought that is $22. I did manage to grab three 3ds games earlier for $60. Ill think about it, this whole trying to get things to work was stressful today :> lol

It was a feeding frenzy and the East Coast had a lucky headstart so the West Coast didn't have much time to take advantage.

You know today is blue monday, the most depressing day of the year. Was this BB's way of fighting it off for all of us?
