Last night about 8PM, I went to a best buy here in Cleveland, OH. (took 4 printed coupons). Wanted to grab as much as I can. Calmly, started with a Canon 50mm Lens. Walked to the register. Cashier said, "sorry sir you cant buy those with these coupons". I said, "Could you please try them once, on register, and if it doesn't go thru, then I'll be happy to pay the full amount". (Lol, little did she know that, never in my life have I paid full price on anything; even when I was a 6 month old baby, I bought my diapers and pacifiers on sale). Unsuspectingly she ran it thru, and it took it!, Both of us said "Wow!". I swiped my card for $60 ish. She asked me if I needed a bag. I said "Yes please" with a grin on my face. and started walking to my car. It was snowing outside. As I was walking, I was thinking, "whats the next item?".

--The End

The hero, would later pick up a Panasonic Home phone system and few other items and use a 2nd coupon. He would put the items in the back of his crossover and walk back to the store to buy a very nice and huge Stainless steely looking 1200W microwave for $60. He goes home to grab a beer and settle in front of the TV with hot pizza slices.

I went to Cherry Hill, NJ and Mount Laurel, NJ BB stores and got denied for apple tv. Cherry hill had only one refurbished and Mt Laurel had a bunch of new and refurb, the cashier even scanned the coupon but it did not work. Wasted a few of hours on this.....Congrats to all those who got this deal.

well from this deal, Best Buy must have figured out a couple of things:

1. offer a good deal and you'll beat Amazon any day for electronics (unless you decide to sell Amazon GCs with $50 off coupon)

2. There are ENOUGH people with MasterCard Big Grin

3. A lot of people still love BB and cribbers will remain such Wink

congrats to everyone who got this deal and thanks for all the love you showered in your reps Smilie

LOL, your signature indicates you are NOT part of group #3.....laugh out loud this said, I got on this deal for 1 external hard drive. That I actually needed. I am tired of storing junk in my house + admit it, amazon is really only good if you have prime or buy lots of books. Otherwise, their prices are competitive but not great on most items. there, I said it! EEK!

I told my bro about it and I met him @ BB only to spent 2 freaking hrs there b/c he was DETERMINED to find somethingRoll Eyes (Sarcastic) I had the Q's and he wasnt home at the time I called to let him know about the deal so I had to meet him there to give him the Q's....uggh! He wound up getting a roku and something else. Used 2 separate Q's at 2 different registers. I got NOTHING! The cahsiers were nice enuff to let him on the roku since it was $99. I was gonna bite on a 3tb external HD but i thought it was still pricey $80 after discount. Oh well save me some $.

Wow...this is almost as bad when target did the free $10 gc w/$50 purchase in regards to SD effect on this deal......LOL
I'm glad somebody else though 3TB external at $70+ tax was still pricey.... Gosh, I bought a 3TB external FROM Best Buy 4 years ago for $80!!!!!!!! EEK!

Does anyone know if BB has Amazon gift cards so I can use the coupons? I plan to buy 30 $100 gift cards just $1500. Sweet :-)
I generally don't comment on other's posts, but wow. Just wow. Did you read anything in this thread? Facepalm

and the aftermath begins...If you where able to use the coupon bestbuy is amazing..if not they are POS and you will be filing a class action lawsuit against BB...laugh out loud
Thank you. Something about your post (I think) made me finally understand why so many people HATE BB. For some reason, I just was not able to quantify what EXACTLY made people HATE them so. I think...what it is IS having to walk out of their stores not getting what they expected and having BB employees waste their time and energy in the process. that I think of it, I have had experienced this a few times myself. Just not enough to wish away the last national B&M electronics superstore available in the U.S. Nah...I mean I just do not feel comfortable ordering a plasma TV mail-order; it just doesn't feel "safe", you know?

I did get L9; this is my second (for family member, not resale) after scoring first from T-mobile with $50 prepaid card. This was even better as I did use my BB gift card ($20) from trading in old cellphones.
So it's a good enough phone for the price?

What's best buys return policy without a receipt after the holidays? It used to be they let the usual policy of needing a receipt slide in January so you could bring back something that was a gift for store credit. Is that still the case?

too bad it's just a coupon that they're not honoring...

if it had been a pricing mistake, you can just sue them in the local small claims court.
(in my county, that's anything under $4999) when Circuit City was still in business
several years ago, I placed and order in the store. The item was a $1100 camcorder
that was mistakenly priced at $299. I ordered and paid for it at one store for
pick up at another store the next day. When I went to pick it up, they told me
they couldn't give me the camcorder because it was a pricing mistake. No amount
of arguing could change their position. I refused to accept just a refund.

Instead, I paid $27 court fee and sued them in the local small claims court. Within
3 weeks, I received a call from Circuit City corporate office. They asked me if I
would be willing to settle the case and I agreed. In the end, they offered me the
camcorder for the $299 price, plus a $200 Circuity City gift card for my troubles.
I went to court and filed another form to drop my case. In a way, I was paid
off.... I always wondered what would have happened if the case actually gone
in front of a judge.... Smilie Circuit City probably just figured it was cheaper to pay
me off with the $200, instead of having the corporate lawyer show up for such
a small case. Smilie
