wonder how much of the stuff we bought today will be in a landfill or collecting dust some were in a few months?
I bought a new Motorola SB6121 modem to replace the one TWC gave me about 3 yrs ago (Motorola SB5101). The one TWC gave me might end up in a landfill, but the new one won't for several years and will save me $48 a year in rental fees. I paid about $42 for it, so it will pay for itself in a year, then save me $96 if I keep it two more years, which is likely. This was a very good buy for me.

I went in yesterday afternoon and bought Turbo Tax and a Thumb Drive and it worked just fine. The cashier told me they had had all kinds of issues during the day, but he even told me that it worked on Amazon and Best Buy Gift cards but to be tight lipped. This constitutes tight lipped right? I'm just typing it! Dublin, OH
Any word if the coupon still works in Dublin?

BB was not ripped off, they still made money on crap people never intended to buy until the coupon came out.

And on top of that, even if BB did get ripped off, its karma since all they do is rip people off with "Geek Squad" prices and upgrades people don't need. They take advantage of computer novices to make a bigger sale.

This is such an embarrassment. This site is used to get good deals not ripping companies off. For all of you complaining you will never shop Best Buy again, get over it. Other "slick dealers" have screwed you over because they abused it.

Going in getting 1 GC, fine whatever great deal, but those of you that went in and just got as many as you can, shame on you. There are many people out there that could have used this coupon and been happy with it on one item not on the exclusion list.

Everyone complains about the EXCLUSION list but it is people in this post that cause companies to do it. Best Buy makes pennies on those gift cards, so they now have to eat all that money you CHEATED them out of.

What even makes it worse is some people are talking about selling the GC's to make money, GET A FREAKING JOB, WOW...UNREAL FrownConfusedvomit

This is such a said thing to see as everyone thinks it was so cool to rip the company off, well I do not think you are cool, it is an embarrassment that people like you exist.

I went to Cherry Hill, NJ and Mount Laurel, NJ BB stores and got denied for apple tv. Cherry hill had only one refurbished and Mt Laurel had a bunch of new and refurb, the cashier even scanned the coupon but it did not work. Wasted a few of hours on this.....Congrats to all those who got this deal.
Wow, I could have written this word for word! I also tried those 2 locations and for an Apple TV. I saw the refurb one at CH, haha. I did try to buy it but the guy wouldn't let me, saying the coupon was only for ONE $100 item. I think he was willing to budge on the fact that it was an Apple (excluded) product, but when he saw the price was $91.99 (b/c refurb), he didn't allow it. Oh well.

I didn't attempt at ML, though. I just wanted to get some Disney Blu Rays there.

Curious to know, so were you able to use it on something else?

I wish I'd seen it in time yesterday!
I shopped at those same stores and was able to purchase 3 Disney Blu-rays at each.

Really would've loved to get an Apple TV though.

This will not make BBY go out of business. They were headed that way already. I saw this deal within the first 20 posts and still refused to give BBY one red cent. They screwed me over many years ago and I never shopped there again or forgot it. When you're as big of an sd'er as me, this takes a lot of self control. So I did what any redblooded sd'er would do. I went and raped my local Staples for as much crap as I could get. LMAO I used so many coupons and rewards it started to hurt. Best Buy is here for one thing only, to pm to at Staples and use their coupon too. LMAO
effing hell LMAO LMAO

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy 2 7.0 yesterday at the Fairview Heights, IL store with only a slight hiccup. The coupon appeared to have worked on the monitor, but the final price did not reflect the $50 off. When the manager was consulted, she stated that it was in the Best Buy staff newsletter email that if they should encounter that issue that they manually deduct the $50 for items which are not explicitly excluded on the coupon. The coupon is good FOR ALL MASTERCARD credit cards and not just Best Buy cards.

That's great! Smilie I know of those stores but not near them.

I didnt even seen this till last night. You snooze, you lose, Fact is though I dont have a mastercard so it would have been a pain in the ass. I imagine I would have needed to go buy a master card gift card.
