Technically that BB store on 46 is West Paterson.
Actually Its Woodland Park since West Paterson changed the name of their town to Woodland Park a few years back. WP to WP? See what they did there? Like how Elmwood Park used to be East Paterson. Very Clever! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

If you want to avoid that tight merge back onto 46, you can exit from the back road at the back of the store, that way you can get on 46 east and west.
i know about this but don't like the crazy potholes so I risk 46, I usually drive the sports car anyway so its only an excuse to open it up!

I can't believe there's so much hate toward BB in this thread, just because some weren't able to take advantage of this deal in manners in which they know full well weren't intended to be used. I've gotten so many legitimate nice deals from BB in the recent months - PS3 3D display for $99 (which I'd just finally cracked opened, typing on it now), 3DS XL w/MK7 for $140, iPad 4, i3 Ivy Bridge ultrabook for $230 openbox which was still sealed in plastic wrap, and a 3313CI receiver for less than 3312 clearance price. Only a big box store will give this kind of markdown.

Do you really wish for less shopping choices shake head
I hate the WP Best Buy, not every Best Buy. And the only reason I didn't use the coupon was because I saw the typical WP Store crap attitude of indifference by the blue shirts and the bullying of the geek squad. The one by where I work in East Hanover on Rt. 10 is an absolute 180 difference from this store. Everyone is nice and people want to help. What can I say, it is literally how they treat you.

It's Tuesday 1/22/13, did anybody try the original coupon today? If it worked, let us know where it worked and when? Just wondering if BB will honor the original coupon or not.

BB was not ripped off, they still made money on crap people never intended to buy until the coupon came out.

And on top of that, even if BB did get ripped off, its karma since all they do is rip people off with "Geek Squad" prices and upgrades people don't need. They take advantage of computer novices to make a bigger sale.
so you should rant on about ALL business that you feel is charging more than what you'd like to pay for a service you really don't need or want to do yourself Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Either do the work or pay for the convenience. Don't disregard the laziness of some folks not wanting to figure stuff out for themselves vs paying someone else, otherwise, most folks, probably you included, would be out of a job. Facepalm

What is your point?
CLEARLY says i bought ink at OD not BB!
Bought multiple XL combo packs and XL HP inks and recycled my ink cartridges and used OD rewards and i needed ink.
So what is your point again?
Exactly right! And OD has free $10 gift card for $49 HP ink purchase too. Hope you had not forgotten that.Wink

It may not be too late now... the original coupon states until Jan 27th.
If BB was smart, they would update the link, and post the updated terms at EVERY register if they were still going to allow it.

Im not going to discount that there some steps involve to roll out promotions and fix it, but at least release a statement that you are fixing it Facepalm

Generally, I say "To each his own," when it comes to stuff like this. However, it really is sad to see this site turning into a hangout for those with an insatiable need to turn a slick deal into a scam for personal profit. Not only do you ruin things for everyone else with your greed, but you encourage businesses to reconsider trying to offer great opportunities to their customers. Once again, the bad apples spoil things for the whole bunch, and do it proudly. You're not just "getting over" on the big, bad corporations, you know. You're disrespecting everyone, including yourselves. Please, look up the "Golden Rule" some time. In the meantime, celebrate your selfish behavior, and brag about how you took advantage of companies who tried to do something nice for you. End of sermon. Happy shopping, everyone.

I ended up getting two polk audio tsi400 speakers. My best buy had them on clearance for 199.99 and they let me use a coupon for each of them, so they were 150.00 each.

I know it's too late now, but just wondering. Were you able to get any gift cards from Staples?
If you haven't caught on yet...people here sometimes like to "embellish" their conquests a tad.

Not only is it against Staples coupon policy for home-printed coupons...this amount would have required a manager approval. If then tricking them to get it to work on gift cards would have been another feat.

Going back to the massive Amazon GC's "deal"...someone would have to be either living with and/or doing "special" favors to get these to go thru. Even though intelligence will vary from manager to manager and store to store.....they just don't come that stupid.

ahh, the golden days of SD. Yes, the bad apples have really put a bad taste here in exploiting EVERY deal they can. Getting a legit deal is no longer enough for some, its going beyond the deal in any form, regardless of others, so to brag about it that seems to give people that better high of getting a slick deal. That bunch just keeps growing Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

No, of course not. Lol. I don't want them to go out of business. They are like the gift that keeps on giving, where as BBY is more of a one hit wonder... LMAO
Q about Staples, can you do a Price Match and use a comp coupon in one transaction?
