Just tried it on a $200 transaction, put $150 on Mastercard, it took $50 off. Then used the gift card for the rest. (came to 213.98 after tax so really cost me a little more)

You're right, some people really ARE dense huh?

I'll be sure to scan the receipt in later so I can laugh even harder at you. Picked up a bunch of Blu-Rays I needed and a portable Vac for my car.

I don't know who YOU are laughing at? The post I quoted said they were going to get $100 off of a $100 purchase. YOU have a $200 purchase. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Do they check your ID when buying with a CC? I forgot if they do, because I have to use my sister's card...All I have are Visas.

I want to preorder SimCity and Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. Comes out to $100 but if I need to buy a Coke or something to put it over, so be it.

So I'd get the $50 off, and then I'd want to use a $46 Best Buy gift card to pay for pretty much the rest of it. This would work, right?
Sure. As long as you pay with your master card instead of your BB gift card. shake head

I purchased the $119 Toshiba Canvio 3tb 3.0USB ext hd for $73, including 5% sales tax.
Then I tried four $25 Kindle gift cards in a separate and it wouldn't take at the cashier.

If I try a $100 best buy gift card and it works, can I then purchase Amazon Kindle cards with it?
Yes, you can purchase Amazon GCs with Best Buy GCs

Ugh, can't even flip Xbox Live cards, after 50$ off, they are still priced higher than usual SD prices.

I just cleaned out my local Best Buy's stock of Amazon Kindle GCs. I'm sitting on a pile of ten of them; I got in right as the doors opened, before the emails were sent out from corporate.

Good luck to anyone else fortunate enough to get in on this. wave
care to post a pic of you sitting on the pile?
