I bought the chocolate one months ago.. still have it. didn't like it at all.. prefer to chew on gummy protein powder instead.

Yeah, some people don't react well to sugar alcohol, myself included. A lot of people can tolerate reasonable amounts of sugar alcohol but if I have more than 10g or so I'm in for a bad time. I guess a lot of low carb protein bars load up with sugar alcohol b/c it adds sweetness but not carbs.

I've had better luck with shakes than bars, for example- the EAS advantedge shakes have no sugar alcohol, less than 1g of sugar and ~2.5g carbs for 17g protein. The same brand's protein bars have 17g of sugar alcohol (maltiol) for 17g of protein.

I usually pay $1.15-$1.20 per serving for low carb shakes, so good price on OP if you can stomach them.
