I chanced it on 4 orders. You can get them for less than $1 by adding 2 label makers, a filler item, and the coupon. Like you all, my invoice says problem and $44 but my receipt said $.81... Good luck!

Just got a call from Staples literally within 2-3 minutes of placing the order online, saying that the coupon is not valid on these items. Wow that was a fast call. Did anyone else get a call? They asked me if I wanted to add a Brother Printer (a real printer) to be eligible for the coupon .. told them to just cancel the order. I guess this coupon is meant for Brother Printers.

Good deal if they honor it, but only if you need the labelers. They sell new for about $12-$20 each on ebay.

Well, was fun while it lasted. They sold out pretty fast, but that was expected. I wish I had posted earlier that they are free if you add a filler. Would have been even more awesome.

I don't either, but I really like sticking it to Staples, especially after today.

I have been trying to get 2 - 16 GB Nexus 7s (promised Christmas gifts) but haven't been able to find them for sale anywhere. I finally discovered local Staples had them in LOW stock. I called and asked to reserve one and I would be right over to buy it. I took my very excited daughter with me to buy hers and one for my wife. The guy would only sell me one. He said I could come back tomorrow and if he still had one, I could buy it. Staples corporate confirmed that its store discretion whether they sell something to me or not.

Like I said, I will now enjoy sticking it to Staples even more than I already do. Sorry for the rant. I feel better already.
