Interesting... I've been waiting to pair a value sub with the Pioneer speakers I got an SD on. I read plenty about how this is a great option.
Any input for me on trying to find a downfiring sub instead? I've got little kids (fingers on grill) and it wil have to go in a corner. Is downfiring a good thing in general, or neutral? |

great sub for the price, it's huge. My amplifier went out after about 8 month. I contacted BIC and they requested to send only the amplifier which is great because it would cost a lot more money to ship the whole sub. I received the new amplifier in lest than a week. This sub has 5 years warranty.

 Seriously, this is a good sub for the price point. It sounds great with the Take 5 Classics.

Provantage has it for $154.90. I bought the F12 from them after christmas. (for $178).

186 is is slightly more than $11 less than usual and only about 6% discount... not that great.
This sub does get great reviews and I almost bought one. Built one instead for the same price. |

how is this compared with the VK-12? i just bought that one and love it and spent $220 total
would like to get 2 for a 7.2 setup. if so would i want to spend a little more and get the vk-12 again to have 2 of the same or would this pair nicely? |

I own this unit. I researched a ton, and ultimately the conclustion I came to was that the F12 was more highly recommended than the similar Polk unit. I've got no complaints. Polk all around with an F12 sub, and an Onkyo TR reciever. My wife and I rarely find the need to go to the movies anymore. They look and sound too good at home.
