they're usually okay if you haven't done one recently from any staples deals. I think that's how it goes. It's one per household and they keep track. At least they used too. Haven't used mcafee in so long, I don't really know. It's terrible and I just uninstall it from every computer I buy anyway.

I've done around 5 McAfee rebates since Black Friday. So far compared to the other companies they have the fastest turn around, whether it be check or prepaid card.

But as said, be careful on their once per product per year limit.

I have never done McAfee rebates ever. I used to install them, until they screwed up somehow. hmm, very tempting...

I'm actually not planning to use the software - just meeting some spend.

I am curious I would love to get a copy of Malwarebytes and throw away Mcafee like people have said the thing is do you get 2 separate keys? Actually checked into it so this is an OEM version and the way I know Windows its tied up to one PC aka motherboard? I saw there is a retail version which usually you can move to another computer without the problem. If I am wrong what exactly is the differences from OEM vs Retail on Malwarebytes.

Also checked on newegg details:

It seems the OEM can be transferred but some claim it can't be (saw an older thread in slickdeals) so can it be transferred or is it stuck to one computer?
