Deal Details

SERVICE DETAILS:
TV:
With FiOS TV Ultimate HD, you’ll get over 385+ all digital channels and 110+ HD channels. Includes Cinemax, NFL Red Zone, EPIX, Showtime, THE MOVIE CHANNEL®, and FLIX® premium channels.

Internet:
FiOS Quantum Internet Speeds up to 75 Mbps/35 Mbps

The $200 GC applies even without Contract - Amount may be region specific so YMMV

STEPS:

1. Click on this link
https://www22.verizon.com/FORYOUR...undle.aspx

2. Enter and confirm your address
Start new order

3. Go to Build your bundle page: Select only Internet and TV (remove phone).
In the options below select FiOS Quantum Internet 75/35 Mbps , the price of Ultimate HD falls to 0.1 then add it to see the final price to your right.

YMMV - $5 additional discount may be region specific. SO your price could be $85 per month, still a great deal.

I personally think this is a glitch/Price mistake on their part so signed up with a 2 year agreement, this is almost a saving of $30-$50 depending on the region. I usually hate contracts and even buy my cell phones full price to avoid contracts.

HURRY UP, jump in before it ends.

The icing on the cake is $200 Visa gift card. If you don't sign up for a contract you can cancel any time but I signed a contract as I think this is a great deal with atleast $30-$50 savings per month if you like those services.

Discounts detail:
No Contract.
Promotions Included on Your Order:
$10 Bundle Credit For 12 Months
$5 credit for 24 months Discount Coupon
$5 Bundle Credit for 24 Months

It took me some time and lost sleep to post this, so reps are appreciated!!

I chatted with them and was told that the bundle price would be honored.
Once I brought up the fact that I received my first month's bill, and it was higher by about $50 the CSR told me to pay the reduced amount and said that my account was noted.

hope this helps and we dont have to deal with the same thing again next/each month.
Same here. They placed a credit on my account for this month, but they are still working on a resolution to the issue and it should be "fixed" by next billing cycle....We'll see.

pay the lower amount and watch - your service will be cut and/or you will get hit with a late fee for the difference. even if they credit it back, you'll waste an hour on the phone with them.

Did a lot of people get in on this?

Where is the outrage? I expected there to be a lawsuit by now.

The CSR I spoke with actually said pay the full amount and get the difference credited on the subsequent bill.

They also said my account had the note to have the price adjusted, and that I would be able to cancel without ETF if the situation was not resolved within 30 days.

I really don't see what the problem is. It is REALLY simple to fix the issue. Take everyone that signed up for the plan on those dates, change their plan to a new "price mistake plan" that they will create and call it a day. They already said they are going to honor the deal so I don't know what the hold up is.

It is not that simple. I don't know what kind of system they use over at Verizon, but it is probably not JDEdwards nor Oracle.

I had once signed up through "welcome back" offer and was supposed to get $10/month off my bill for 24 months for coming back, on top of all the current offers. Well, the $10 off per month did not stick. I had to call them every month for 3 months, and finally got fed up, and threatened to cancel. The CSR besically said once the plan is in the system, no one can change it. He just generated a one time credit of $210 ($10/mont x 21 remaining months).

I would not be surprised if Verizon used some sort of Java based home brew of a billing system.

So you are saying it is THIS much of a pain in the ass every time they create a new bundle promotion? They come out with new ones all the time. Why would this be any different? Just make a new bundle promotion in the system like they normally do (don't make it public on the site for other customers to sign up with, just add it to the system), and then switch the bundle package of everyone affected to the newly created bundle.

As to billing errors, when I signed up I was shorted $5 a month for some reason. They said they couldn't add it back into my plan but they could give me a $60 credit for the 1 year instead so who knows what the hell goes on there.

Got my first bill with similar problem - $45 more. First CSR was very rude. I wish I had recorded the conversation. Second and Third CSRs were good. They finally provided me with a number to call on Monday (2866 818 0295). I have never had a good experience with Verizon so I printed out the order summary page when I signed up.

I tried to see how many peeps wanted to file complaints as a group from on here and got very little responce which suprised me also but I think while most people don't mind hooking up on a good deal such as this there are very few that are willing to fight for their legal rights in a matter such as bait and switch.

Verizon is actually counting on most people forgeting about this deal and that is why they are dragging it out as they are in hopes that the remaining group of people willing to file complaints will be so small that they will also tell us to go pack sand. People have gotten too passive when it comes to big business or government telling them no and they don't want to put up a fight for their rights anymore. You can damn sure believe if anyone of us had signed a contract with Verizon such as we have and we canceled after the 30 bow out period that we would get hit with that ETF and Verizon wouldn't back down from that.

I had planned on calling Verizon again on Friday but I got in to late to call. I will be calling them this coming week and if they still don't have an answer to resolve this I will be going ahead with filing complaints with the BBB, the FTC and the F.C.C. and I will try to setup a contact person for everyone to call and voice their complaints as a group in whole and maybe we take this as far a class action law suit. I believe once that is filed Verizon has to turn over a list of everyone involved that signed up on that date to see if they want to be involved in the suit against them.

I suggest that anyone that is still willing to call and fight Verizon on this to record the phone calls and or copy and paste their online chats and during both requests names of who they are speaking to and their REP ID #'s and a contact phone # to reach back to the person you spoke to if in fact you get ahold of someone of any real authority at Verizon. If they refuse to give you a REP ID # as they have me recently then anything they say doesn't mean s#it as they are not willing to be held accountable for what they told you. The evidence you collect now is what is going to win this for you.

I still hope to hear from others in this forum still willing to put their dog in this fight.

Well said Tator. I plan on obtaining and keeping as many documents as possible to prove my case. I don't hold out much hope for group action but I have been in this situation before (not Verizon, though) and found that facts and documented proof go a long way in convincing a company to back down. If they pull a credit report then that should strengthen the case against them. I am confident those who perservere will get the promised price.

Does anybody know if their current rates are generally the best deals they offer, outside of glitches? I'm with Brighthouse but their (a) internet sucks (b) increasing my bill by $20. For the $120 I'd be paying Bright House, I can get Fios with their stupid adapters. I was hoping to reduce it alittle since I know taxes would bring the bill up some, but if they don't have any better deals..

It is my experience that what is listed is the best deal. You can't get a better deal by calling. However, you CAN get a better deal by signing up and then threatening to cancel prior to your install date. They will usually knock $5 or $10 off your monthly bill for you not to cancel.

I am with you on this.

Legally they don't have much to stand on as long as evidence is there. I have the print out of the order confirmation to me. They gave me a bogus fax #

I will be in contact with them again tomorrow.

Got a call back from Verizon and I explained the problem. The CSR told me to fax the evidence to her.
