I personally think this is a glitch/Price mistake on their part so signed up with a 2 year agreement, this is almost a saving of $30-$50 depending on the region. I usually hate contracts and even buy my cell phones full price to avoid contracts.

The icing on the cake is $200 Visa gift card. If you don't sign up for a contract you can cancel any time but I signed a contract as I think this is a great deal with atleast $30-$50 savings per month if you like those services.

I contacted VZ via chat for the second time. First time I was told they will uphold my $85 rate, then contacted them again because my acct hadn't been adjusted. Rep was pushing back a bit then I told her I had the rep's chat log that confirmed the deal, and the original order confirmation page in PDF. She actually went to talk to the first rep I spoke with and told me she would email me back later. Just got the email, $85 confirmed. My account should be updated soon once and for all, though I can just pay the $85 instead of the $170 that's currently billed and they will take care of the rest. Amazing deal/price mistake.

You will have to pay more than $85, it should be $50 less what you are billed, so about $120.

I paid my bill in full even though it was too much and just today see a negative balance of $47.99 (finally). Can't see any reference to the $80 promo package anywhere on my account though. Looks like things are moving in the right direction. Thanks to everyone!

I got the right amount showing up in total amount due section: $104.16.
But the billing summary with current activity still shows the incorrect charges.

Got my credit for the 2 wrong months, upgrade now shows that my account is fixed for the next 23 months at the correct price of $80.

Only question left now is what will happen to the price after those 23 months. Since all the discounts are 24 month credit discounts, I assume it will go back up to the full price of the bundle. Then it will be time to start looking again.

I have now confirmed that my bill is correctly posted online and my payment due amounts are correct to the penny...

EXCEPT,

I just realized that the $44.99 monthly credit they have added to my bill (which is what I imagine to be the customized piece to make the promotion value equal to $80) is only for 12 months. The promotion clearly stated it was for 2 years. Has anyone talked to them about this descrepancy? I plan on raising the issue with them but just wanted to know if anyone has dealt with this yet. I figure I better bring this up sooner than later while it is fresh in everyone's minds.
