I have remote for HTPC as well and it works well. Not very friendly for typing, but the primary goal is to have a remote mouse that allows you to control your pc from a couch and it works well for this. I use the typing feature a few times here and there, but mostly the mouse controls and multimedia buttons.
I used to use Mobile Mouse (http://mobilemouse.com/) for HTPC control via my phone and it is not a bad option either. |

I got the one of these remotes last time. It works great with raspberry pi as a media player. The great thing is the it's back lit, so you can see the keys in the dark!.

best keyboard for htpc. i've had previous model for 4+ years, now upgrading to this one. can't wait!

Yes, N5902 is a good wireless keyboard for HTPC if you need one. But I don't think at $35 after code it's a best deal ever.
I may not give a thumb up but never give you thumbs down.

What do you mean not friendly for typing? I think its obvious that this would not be a great option to write a 10 page paper in Microsoft Word but overall is it bad if I need to do a good search for type in names of videos on youtube?

For those that aren't sold on the combination mouse keyboard, look at the Logitech K400, it does everything this Lenovo does but is full-featured so it's much more flexible. I use it for my HTPC and love it. Not a thread crap at all, this is great if it does what you need it to, but for those that need something a little more functional look into the Logitech. $33 on Amazon

Type n5902 in the lenovo.com search bar and click add to cart from there, NO SPACES in code before or after, Worked perfect, Thanks.

Bought the keyboard about a year ago on a deal for I think $22. Nice and small, works decent BUT no function keys make it half as useful as it could be since I'd love to be able to ALT+F4 to close something.
I still use it for quick web searches but have to break out a real wireless keyboard to kill the occasional stuck program. |

Great keyboard, btw. Have one in the bedroom, and one downstairs for the htpc. Wouldn't bother trying anything else, easy to use and backlit is great at night. |
