I have one of these, if you're making sushi - do it by hand. If you're just wanting a circular blob of rice that you can fry (or even bake) - get one!

Tempting....I love sushi but am completely ignorant as to how to roll it.
This would allow plenty of creative options for dinner. |

Most people don't realize, you don't have to just use raw fish. You can pack the center with fruits and they are wonderful that way. |

I've used a mat or just a kitchen towel with plastic wrap laid out on it. I had zero trouble after my first one, which still wasn't bad. I'm a fumble fingers too. The tough part to me seems to be getting the rice correct, the rolling doesn't seem to be that complicated to put $16 into a unitasker.

You guys must have some pro blood. I've attempted to roll my own sushi, and even had one of my Vietnamese friends attempt to teach me how to do it.....It's been an abject failure at every turn. I grabbed one of these as it's the price a couple of rolls at my favorite local sushi joint.
