I always find myself looking for my touchpad whenever I use my logitech MX keyboard, I really wish there was a true quality wireless keyboard with trackpoint. I am addicted to trackpoint.
Otherwise, next best thing is touchpad. If I can use this with windows 7 I would definitely get it. Not just for gestures but the usual mouse movements, sometimes I hate moving my arm to move the mouse, it is not laziness just faster to simply move stuff around since I type a lot and compare stuff at work.. I am sure there is a way to add gestures to Win 7 |

Keep in mind, Lenovo will soon split Lenovo and Thinkpad divisions, so you will get a lot more professional service (probably all above related to Thinkpad since I only buy thinkpad products, other than one ultrabook I got for my wife) so it may actually get a bit worse for non-Thinkpad customers. |

I love the Logitech T650 but I'm waiting on a sale for it! It's crazy for $80. But the size for the Logitech is big and perfect. The gestures work great. and the glass-like surface is so smooth with very little resistance (the biggest problem with many touchpads).
$30 sounds awesome for a reasonable facsimile but there's no reviews of it. very little information. is it even Windows 8 certified for all the gestures? Calling it a Windows 8 device doesn't necessarily mean it can do all the motions. Like some touchscreen monitors with 2 point touch are touting Windows 8 compatibility but to be a Windows 8 certified monitor, you need minimum 5 point touch (and most have Win8 moniotrs have 10-point touch so two people can use it together). |

Wow, the manual has me pretty excited! 5-point touch with 21 gestures...in comparison the $80 Logitech T650 only has 4-point touch with 13 gestures. Could be a hidden gem, as long as it's responsive!

How does this compare to the Apple Magic trackpad which is awesome in its own right. The Logitech one and Microsoft one blows pretty hard. Does it do 4 finger swipes and stuff like that? E.G. 4 fingers up, pinch swipe?
Next question, does it work with OSX or Linux? |
