If I wasn't planning a tv purchase I'd buy one and never end up using it.

Never mind, my wife saw me looking at this and educated me on the reasons I don't need it. Ouch

id be in the market for these as opposed to a big screen tv. i had to sell my last 32" in sept since im prone to travel alot.

i will look into these things though, if i can get a 32" flat for $200, it shouldnt be hard to get one of these gaming environments for cheap, maybe from a different competitor.

Damn I wanted this at Full Price. I literally randomly checked the page for this item as I happen to do every few weeks and noticed it was currently the Lightning Deal and immediately jumped on it. This is SO SLICK!

Hmm makes me want to get a $150 26" HDTV or monitor and velcro it into a suitcase for mobile gaming.

Or not.

This looks to be really nice for the gamer who has to travel a lot, or deployed overseas...

How many hotel rooms have tvs where u cant connect an xbox. Also, this looks like it will be your carry on bag, so enjoy paying extra for another checked bag.

ive been in alot of hotel/motel rooms where i couldnt plug a system into. even worse if i could plug a system into it,, it would be a crappy analog/composite (red and yellow) setup with no HD.

Im currently at my aunt's house now and she's doesnt even have an HDTV. And the TVs we do have DONT have the composite setup and the only way to game is through a RF adapter. Needless to say my Xbox has been in storage for months and TV would be at the same place if I didnt sell it months earlier.

I use my laptop now as the end all be all of my entertainment and i dont game with Steam or Origin or any of that stuff because this laptop isnt built for gaming past 2008, my $200 xbox is built for gaming for 2013.

Even when I find my new apartment I will be wary of buying big things like furniture and big screen TVs because I know what a pain it was to lug that stuff around and/or keep it in storage when I dont plan on staying "home" often. Im trying to see the world, not stay home and buy crap like big 42" TVs and tables and other home furnishings that lose half their value as soon as you take it out of the store/box.

This is why im in the market for one of these. One of these and a laptop with bookbag and in ready to stay portable and on the go at a moments notice.

No batteries? What are you paying for? Just a screen and a hard case? Dumb.
