Fat Wallet and very, very rarely e b a t e s. I have had problems with FW reporting many, many times, but every time they have resolved the issue quickly and paid out the appropriate amount. I don't use e b a t e s very often - perhaps 1-2 times per year - but I haven't had any reporting issues with them. It often takes me 1-2 years to actually be eligible to cash out though due to the fact that I rarely use it and they require X amount before you can cash out.
I have degrees in both animal behaviorism and psychology and have come to the conclusion that animals make a hell of a lot more sense than people.

Extrabux is a rip-off site. They collect your commissions but they never pay anything. They are based out of Shanghai China, and that is why you will never get a penny from them. No U.S. office or phone number. I like shop at home , e bate , and fat wallet though that pays the least. The most reliable for me is e bates, |

I finally got paid by Extrabux but it took about 20 emails for them to respond, and I had also reported them to the BBB. I obviously wont be using them again.
The reliable ones are e bates, fat w, shop at home, and mr.rebates. I used cashbackoholic to choose which one. |

eB@tes ripped me off on a fridge purchase from Sears. It was a 6% Cashback. I haven't used them in a while but because they were giving out the best CB for Sears at that time, I used them over more reliable CB sites. A friend wanted me to purchase a french door fridge for him. The amount was close to $1700. It was a huge purchase and I thought because eB@tes has been the grandaddy of CB sites, I wouldn't have any problem using them.
I also purchase a fridge for myself using ShopDiscover (10% CB). That was a mistake too as Discover said I used a coupon (I never had problems with them using coupons until this huge purchase) and they will not give me the CB but a 2nd call to a rep issued me CB which will show on my March statement, but I digress... Anyway, because I made several purchases from different stores during the holidays, I couldn't keep track which cashback sites I used. So I have forgotten which CB site I used to purchase my friend's fridge. I've checked all CB sites I subscribe to and I don't see Sears in any of their tracking histories. Finally, I tried to send a trouble ticket to eB@tes and selected the date I purchased the fridge from their calendar. To my surprise and delight their database noted a tracking ticket of the purchase as I submit the Where's My Cashback complaint. But to my disappointment, I received an email from them that it has been beyond their 90 day policy to investigate the issue (i was late by 3 days). Of course I was very upset because they should have given me the CB worth $100 in the first place. I don't see the tracking ticket anymore when I tried to resubmit the complaint as it seems they deleted it from their database this time. I will never use eB@tes again. I never really have used them for a while because there are more reliable CB sites that give higher CB, lower minimum requirement for payout and shorter periods to get your CB. I have a vendetta on them now. I plan to use them again but this time to work around their system. Buy the most expensive item at Nordstrom (great return policy), wait until I get my CB from eB@tes, cash out, then return item to Nordstrom. Something I would never do but now I have to because they suck! Maybe I should post to the Consumerist. http://consumerist.com/2011/12/08...purchases/ The CB sites I use (in order of most frequently used) are: ShopDiscover B|g Crumbs Mr Reb@tes . . . Shop@Home Fatwallet Coupon Cactus eB@tes (no more) Last edited by esquire415; 03-09-2013 at 09:49 AM.. |
