ever not get your rebate honored?

Yes, I do get denial once every year or two (out 100+ submitted per year). Last one was the Sony video editing program that has a $100 rebate (combined with upgrade in one form). I track my rebate status frequently and found it listed as UPC absent 2 weeks after mailing in. I chat with them and they said they have the UPC but it was marked as copy. I sent it the original UPC that I peeled off carefully from the box and it has the thickness of regular paper. After chatting with CSR, they transferred my case to the special team to investigate and asked me to check me in a week. I was so upset to found it did not change the week later (but it was right around Christmas). A couple weeks passed, and I found they did validate my rebate afterwards.
