When I have just one or two rebates I cut and paste it on with a glue stick. If I have a lot, I use the Avery labels 30 per sheet and type the addresses in. They have all been processed correctly. As long as it is correctly addressed and computer printed, I think you will be okay.

Seems like Tiger direct is coming full circle after their rebate debacle a few years ago and finding some other way to screw customers. They said to wait a week and perhaps it will be back in stock even after admitting the products have been discontinued. By the time it gets here the rebate may no longer be valid.. They usually do that when there's an issue. As for the item coming back in stock, it's hit or miss. Sometimes they will get in additional stock on an item that's FAR, other times they won't. Also, occasionally people will "refuse delivery" on an order if they have buyer's remorse, so that's a possibility as well. As for the mail-in rebate on the item, even if it arrives after the rebate redemption period, you can still claim it. MORE INFO [4myrebate.com] I wouldn't recommend cancelling the order. Just let it sit on back-order for a while. They will usually try to make it right. If you don't see any activity within 3 to 4 weeks, you might want to try calling TigerDirect. Tell them about your order issues and they might offer a comparable toaster for Free or $20 off a better one for the inconvenience. I would recommend that you register for the MIR now though. You only have 30 days from the initial offer end date to claim the rebate online. The postmark date doesn't matter if the order is delayed, as that's outlined in the FAQ I linked. I agree, no reason to cancel. The rebate will be honored if delayed due to shipping. You don't have to do anything for now. The $9 money maker Sony bluray player was finally canceled by TD recently, and they gave those whose order was canceled $30. Hopefully ddhunter got the consolidation prize :-)

Update on my end sent both rebates at the same time one has been already set on record the other one hasnt (I sent both at the same time) makes no sense and its been over day I hope I don't get screwed over or something. (they got the iron steam but not toaster yet apparently).
