Had a problem with the nuance software a few months ago, the rebate was pulled online, though I was able to get it by calling in several times. Other than that, I would agree.

You can use it to buy gas, but you have to go inside and pay. You can also buy amazon gc. I use it to pay my Verizon wireless bill, verizon allows you to prepay too (negative balance on the account). Only downside is when you add a card, it will automatically do a $1 pull so you can only pay up to $1 less than the balance at that time. Wait a few days for the pull to disappear and you can pay the buck remaining.

u can buy grocery store GCs with them or u can prepay at gas station. dont keep them too long with you. there is a fee if u dont use them for more than 6 months or 1 year.

Thank you TD for erasing Circuit City from the map. Now all their entities charge tax for me. Just an excuse for not jumping on these money traps.

I am having hard time to verify TigerDirect Gift Cards. It does not say which product is this card for. So, it makes hard for me to track rebates. Symantec Visa Gift card is easy because it has tracking number, but Tigerdirect Amex card doesn't.

I got the same problem too. Even after called to amex and gave them a proxy number, they still couldn't check the last 4 card numbers too. I lost $20 of that rebate, and Tigerdirect didn't support my rebate claiming as well although I kept all the copy of documents. I finished over a hundred Tigerdirect rebates without any problems before. I'm still waiting for over 30 rebates. Once receive all of them, I will stop this rebate game. Now I know it's not safe as I ever think.

P/S: 4myrebate never help you anything once you have problems, not support at all. The thing they do is just keep telling you calling to amex. This is a big down side when compare with Parago, Symantec Rebate, or another rebate companies.

Kroger/Target will take whatever left in the card and will let use another payment method to pay the rest. You can use multiple Amex rebate cards and then fail-over to your usual payment card.

The other option is Amazon which will release a gift card as low as 15¢
