I must have JUST missed it. I added a medium black for myself and a medium white heather for my girlfriend and when I clicked to confirm my order it said the men's was OOS but it STILL PROCESSED THE ORDER!

Pretty pissed at Dick's customer service for doing this. They didn't even say "hey, your order just changed" and make sure I still wanted to proceed. It just automatically updated my cart to remove the men's jacket, add in the shipping fee (no longer over $99) and charged my card.

A quick call to customer service allowed me to cancel the order, but still, come on Dick's!

Just got 2 women's small with one to return!

I was in Dick's yesterday and they had these in store too.

Same here. Called them to cancel the order. So not worthy it.

As a backpacker I own tons of TNF stuff and this is the the absolute worst jacket I've ever owned. Insulation properties suck and any breeze goes right through you! No wonder this stuff is always on sale so often.
Glad sold it long time ago at Ebay.

TNF red still seems to be available in most sizes. I figured at this price, you can't really go wrong. Thanks OP. Repped

These particular jackets are not meant to be used as an outter layer, it is meant to go under a windproof shell. (That is why they are called CORE)

If you wear these jackets as a jacket, expect to get cold, unless you have 0 wind or mild temperatures.

With that said I LOVE every single NF Core & Shell that I own!

Dick's has both this and regular Denali, not sure the difference other than lack of "pit zips". Any other input would be greatly appreciated.

I grew up in Alaska and have worn only North Face and Columbia outerwear ever since.

I could care less what everyone else is wearing, I prefer to wear quality, well made items that will last and do the job they are intended to do.

I love how you said that it should be worn under a windproof shell, but most people just wear it as outerwear. I am anti-TNF ever since the quality tanked when VF bought them about 12 years ago. Most people that buy the Denali are buying it for the logo alone. They also don't own a shell since they think the Denali is sufficient or are in shock when they see how a good waterproof shell is easily$300+. I have a few denalis just sitting in the closet, but my go to fleece these days is a Mountain Hardwear Mountain Tech Jacket (formerly the windstopper tech). I would seriously suggest spending a few extra dollars and get a windproof fleece or even a soft shell that will be so much more versatile.

A few are on sale at REI, although fairly limited. Two worth considering are the Mountain Hardwear Mountain Tech and the Patagonia R3/R4 if you want a quality fleece that is also windproof.
