I agree.. Not just auto zone, but most auto parts "rebuilt" electrical parts haven't been very reliable for me.

I had a lifetime warranty Autolite starter from Kragen (now O'reilly) on a Camry V6 & it died about once a year (relay click, but no cranking)...ended up asking for my money back since I told them that I have to come in annually & am tired of them dying...got a Nippon denso & had no problems.. Should have rebuilt the original one that came with the car..

the Duralast Valeo rebuilt alternators for E46 M3s are horrid...got 3 bad ones.. Wasted a lot of hours.. Gave up & bought a Bosch which cost more, but no problems since..there's a whole thread on m3forum to avoid Duralast alternators (at least the m3 Valeo ones)

Ignition coil pack I got from autozone would buzz & cause hesitation before it died every time on the Camry

then lets not forget the Bosch spark plug wires for a civic from autozone that snapped (the grey wire part) when pulled from the black boot.. they have me a new set, but still..

Nowadays I only buy fluids & filters from autozone & avoid almost everything else especially electrical parts
