i would stay away from this tv, and if your really going to buy one make sure you have the correct serial #,
i got this from costco, it died within 2months, no video just sound. vizio warranty is just outright shameful, they will only replace a tv within 30 days of use - for a brand new tv, and that is only if you bitch and moan and complain about their idiot 2 week turnaround time of sending a tech out to try to fix the tv, which all they do is hold power down withouot it plugged in for like 60 secs, swap out boards and go the problem is still here. if you dont bitch and moan, they will send u a refurb unit, and guess what it only comes with a 90 day warranty, if you guys buy this tv, buy the extended warranty, i was sick of vizio warranty scam and just returned the tv the tv was ok, viewing angles were poor, had a weird popping noise from the speakers whenever i starte a program or dvd etc, i was using optical out, tried it with its normal speakers same thing, the netflix app runs ridiculously slow, and my wifi signal will jump from 75% to 10%, netflix runs so weird with the bag wifi signal sometimes in hd, sometimes in shitty pixels like i was watching porn on internet in the 90's i wanted to like this tv, in fact i was very happy with it even with the issues i had, just cuz it was so big compared to my 46" but to be honest, i would pass on this tv, or take your chances and buy a extended warranty, cuz i guarantee vizio will try to pull a 90 day refurb on u |

That's strange about your experience with Netflix. One of the things that surprised me about this TV was how fast the apps run compared to my dads Samsung. Netflix works great. The wireless router is right next to the tv though. I bought at Target and had them search for a high serial number (51) so, crossing my fingers... |

I since some frustration on that posters part. Hope things get better with the next TV they purchase. |

you have to realize this tv barely came out in production in Oct, there are still alot of old inventory stock sitting on the shelves, getting the right serial #, is just something you needto check in on the avs forums, i believe higher the serial #, the better chance of it being newer, and POTENTIALLY not having a problem but read all of the reviews, not just the 1 star and the 5 stars on walmart and amazon, alot of 3 stars were given for some unknown reason even though they had to deal with getting a replacement i give this tv a 1star, ive never had a electronic item fail so fast in my short 28 year lifespan read some more reviews and people who have gotten their 2nd replacement are still going through issues, and not the same issue, different issues.... scared yet? ![]() buy the extended warranty and pray you dont have to use it |

you can bitch and moan all you want to get your replacement extended out to the full 1x year, but all they will say is, its a warranty service or replacement = 90 day warranty go ahead and try ![]() the only way around the 90 day replacement is getting a warranty service done within 30 days, and bitch and moan you want a new unit then they automatically will give you 1x year for the delivery of the new unit, but if you dont get the new unit you get stuck with.................. u guessed it warranty service/ replacement = 90 day warranty fyi just google vizio and refurb, and see what pops up, lol Last edited by fxclm5; 02-05-2013 at 05:32 PM..
