They say that issue is fixed with latest firmware, make sure your TV is connected to the internet and it will update automatically
Yep, thanks, someone already mentioned it earlier in the thread. Went downstairs to search the menu for how to check for updates, but as soon as I turned the TV on it informed me it had updated automagically!

damn Frown

i got this to replace a 6yr old 47" LCD Vizio and i have to say that viewing from an angle is awful compared to the LCD i had Frown but whats more disapointing i cant seem to get the white white (they are a cream color) and the contrast is not as crisp as id like

i havent given up yet messing with the setting but so far its been a let down.

Hmm. My 6 yr. old Sony DLP just had the optical block crap out and Sony has offered me a KDL-60EX645 for $975 + tax as a replacement. Any thoughts on this Vizio vs. the Sony? On the surface, the Sony offer seems ok, but not great... Thanks.

Could add Target to the list as well - It's now listed as $899 Temporary Price Cut
http://www.target.com/p/vizio-60-...izio+60%22
I stopped in my local Target and they verified that if the store has it in stock they would match the price of Best Buy and Amazon

Also if you use the Target Red card to buy it you would get the additional 5% back on your purchase

Same here. I read that it's beautiful once setup and I've tried. Htpc, OTA and ditectv, all suffer.

The temporary $200 iSymphony I had up was crisper. My old 65" Olevia was way better. However blu ray was crisp and looked great. ??!??
My viewing angle is off as well but my seating isn't of center by much.

It appears to me that contrast is an issue. All the colors are Bright but they're just Muddy. Almost like input an HD image and just uses the smudging roll all over it.

Plan on doing some heavy tweaking this weekend hopefully I can dial it all out.

It's all about features, picture quality and price. Figure out what's important to you.

I recently picked this up from bestbuy and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm coming from a low end 50" Samsung plasma and about the only thing I miss is the viewing angle but it's not too bad for my set-up.

I primarily watch HD cable and I'm happy with the overall pq. Maybe it's because I'm used to that more subdued look of a plasma. Shoot I'm only sitting between 8' and 9' from this puppy so it looks really big to meSmilie

The only thing that slightly worries me is longevity but my Samsung plasma got red diffusion after 2 years. Lesson learned so I'm getting an extended warranty for this.

I have this and would give it a 7.5 out of 10. I use it as a computer monitor though.

I picked up this tv from Target for $811 plus tax. Great price, but the viewing angles are horrible. Step off center and the colors wash out. I think I will return and get a Samsung.
