Wait... so you if you buy through amazon you can use in Origin? My game and expansions are all in Origin and I thought I had to buy all additional content through Origin.

iota is right - if you buy through Amazon, it's activated through Origin. I bought the core game through steam, then an addon through Amazon. The Amazon addons only activate in Origin. I ended up buying a copy of the core game through Amazon so my gf could play the addons I bought through Amazon. Kind of screwy.

disc based games are through origin, so this worked out well
