Cheaper than the BF deal at Costco if Amazon doesn't charge tax in your state.

VIZIO E701i-A3 70-inch 1080p 120Hz Razor LED Smart TV

update: Warehouse Deals just dropped the price on this to $1473.11 for Very Good condition.. but you don't get the 2% with this option and may be more expensive to get a 3rd party warranty.

Link to owner's thread on avsforum.. earlier batch of panels seemed to have more uniformity issues:

Not bad, but the 70 is huge! Price dropped $300 overnight.

wait for 6 months all TV prices will go down rock bottom as OLED TVs will be rolled out. Recently Adorama sold panny 65in VT50 more than $1200 less from MSRP! Think about it, why?

I would've jumped on this if I did not buy the 60" LG Plasma for $699

I'd be all over this but my Entertainment Center will only fit a 65"(60" wide). Frown

Because 2013 models are coming out? TVs will always get cheaper and bigger. Just depends when you need it.

I think Dream is saying there'll be a bigger than usual drop because of the OLED technology coming out. I hope that's true, my six year old Olevia is dying, but will probably hold up for a few more months.

I saw somewhere that right before the Super Bowl is the best time for quality HDTVs (not basic models on black friday)......THis is a pretty great price.

Damn. this is nice. Oh well I got the 65 inch version for 999 on black friday. I dont know if 600 more would be worth it but Bigger the better. My wall over the fireplace can take max 70 but i had to settle for the 65. Good deal op.

Not in 6 months, may be in 18-24 months. As it stands now, none of the soon coming OLED TVs are priced below 3K. Adorama sold the VT50 for $1200 less because the 2013 Panasonic TVs are coming soon and also the margin on that TV was huge.

Awesome, been waiting for a price like this. Price seems to be the same everywhere else but amazon has the 2% reward.

If I have some cash right now, I would definitely get the 60-in since 70-in is nice but probably a little overkill for my living room!
