Cheaper than the BF deal at Costco if Amazon doesn't charge tax in your state.

VIZIO E701i-A3 70-inch 1080p 120Hz Razor LED Smart TV

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product//B009SJNTIY

update: Warehouse Deals just dropped the price on this to $1473.11 for Very Good condition.. but you don't get the 2% with this option and may be more expensive to get a 3rd party warranty.

Link to owner's thread on avsforum.. earlier batch of panels seemed to have more uniformity issues:

Bought 70" Vizio from Amazon on Thursday. Saw this post for Sam's Club at $1548 and sent an email to Amazon because of their lowest price guarantee. I just received the following email:

Your recent TV Low Price Guarantee request for the Vizio 70 inch against the current price on SamsClub has met our qualifications for a refund.
I'm issuing a refund in the amount of $51.99. You'll see the refund on your card statement in the next 2-3 business days.

Nice deal--you got lucky! Usually they'll add on the membership fee for Sams and maybe another fee for "white glove delivery" since only Standard delivery is listed as free at Sam's Club.

I have a Samsung UN55B8500, a sharp LC-70LE732U, and this Vizio.

Out of all of them the Samsung is tops in terms of a quality picture. The sharp lacks in the blacks department but that is expected, everything else seems fine. The vizio is watchable, but you would notice a difference in the blacks AND the reds compared to the sharp. The reds on the vizio are more orangy (?) than my father and I can bare. We bought two of the vizios on BF, one for a family member. He isn't picky so he thinks the picture is amazing, but we definitely don't think so.

Try following CNET's settings to reduce the annoyance, but don't expect it to be fixed 100%. If you can spot a good tv from a bad tv a mile away, don't buy this. If you aren't so picky and just want a big ass TV, go for it. I would recommend getting it from Costco like I did. An extra 3 year warranty cost us $100 more, giving us this TV + 5 year warranty for 1600+tax. Not sure what the current Costco price is though (it was 1500 on BF)

EDIT: Forgot to mention this, even though it seems important. Our TV has white spots on the bottom left corner of the viewing screen that you can see if the scene is white (IE some scenes in bruce almighty, the matrix, harry potter, etc.). They disappear when color is added. We are gonna keep this for another year after the MF warranty and let Costco replace this next year when, hopefully, it is not longer in production.

Thank you for editing in the details on how you plan to commit fraud.

Went ahead and bought one yesterday. The 2% back plus triple points using our Amazon credit card makes it a pretty good deal. If the Sam's Club price is still lower once I get it I may also contact Amazon about the price.

Good deal either way. This will be a big upgrade from our 50".

If that's fraud can you please file a lawsuit against my local sears? They recommended I do that for the sharp TV I bought from them since the 732U was phased out.

Thanks!

That's your first problem. Following anything Sears does will lead to ruin.

I'm issuing a refund in the amount of $51.99. You'll see the refund on your card statement in the next 2-3 business days.
I am not lucky as you are, here is what Amazon sent me an emai:

I've researched your TV Low Price Guarantee claim and found that your final item cost, including shipping and handling, from samsclub.com would be higher than the price of your Amazon.com order. I've found that your final price with samsclub.com would be $1638.00. We also include membership fees to samsclub.com of $40.00 when comparing prices as there are no applicable membership fees for purchasing from Amazon.com.

For televisions that are 46" or larger, we offer an enhanced delivery service through one of our specialty shippers. They will make special arrangements for the delivery of your order. Upon delivery, they will bring the parcel into your home and unpack the item. When comparing the final price from a competitor, we take the enhanced delivery costs into account. For this reason, we add 50.00. As a result of the total cost from samsclub.com being greater than the total cost of your Amazon.com order, I'm not able to approve your claim.

I hope this helps. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Thank you for your inquiry. Did I solve your problem?
