Bah search failed me, see there is a thread on it from most retailers....

how is the tv? there seem to be more than a few reviews on amazon saying the tv panel failed after a few weeks or a couple of months.

This set is also $879 at costco ($100 off) starting today, and they throw in a second year of warranty and 90 days return, which might be something to consider with the reliability claims. The reviews at costco.com mention plenty of reliability issues. Costco also sells warranty [costco.com] for 3 extra years through Squaretrade (5 years total) for $59.99, which is a no brainer.

I am personally waiting for this to drop closer to the $688 BF pricing, w all the Samsung and LG deals lately this should be closer under $800 before I bite.
