"To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo will make one game available on the Wii U eShop for $0.30 between now and July. Each NES or SNES game will be available at the discounted price for 30 days.

First up is Balloon Fight, which is available right now on the eShop at the discounted price. The next six are listed in the picture above. Remember, you only have 30 days to grab each game for $0.30. The Virtual Console will arrive on the Wii U in greater number following the spring update."

February: F-Zero
March: Punch Out! Featuring Mr. Dream
April: Kirby's Adventure
May: Super Metroid
June: Yoshi
July: Donkey Kong

sorry, i dont think the article mentioned anything about the regular Wii. Seems like it only applies to Wii U, but i could be wrong

Yes, and you can customize the controls on whatever input you use as well

Punch Out is also well worth the 30 cents, but it just isn't the same without Tyson. Never could get into F-Zero because my brain doesn't work that fast.=P They really ought to do a 30 cent game each week for 30 weeks. But I guess they don't want to cut too far into their profit margins on their ancient IPs.

Trial dates were just recently announced by Nintendo and I have listed them below. These are the date ranges that you can purchase each title from the Wii U eShop for 30 cents each to own.

Balloon Fight (NES) Jan. 23-Feb. 21
F-Zero (SNES) Feb. 20-March 21
