Then from within the software go to the Firmware tab. Direct it to the file that downloaded. Make sure to unzip it first. Update it. And your done. It was real easy and worked nicely Sammy did a good job with their software. |

1)PLEASE stop posting about CA sales tax and recycling fees
2)The "no HDMI, deal killer" joke isn't funny 3)Stop comparing video cards to cars, the price ranges are completely different 4)You are NOT going to call your relative to SUE and if you are, you're wasting time 5)Why does Tigerdirect ask for your SSN? No clue, just don't give it to them 6)Black Friday deals aren't as great as people make them seem. |

got mine yesterday.
installed ssd magician and updated firmware downloaded norton ghost via the link but turns out samsung does not provide the license key anymore. got samsung data migration but it is unable to clone from bigger hard drive. tried easeus, but cloned ssd does not boot. finally used acronis migrate and got the ssd working this is my first ssd, and I can see it is faster, but nowhere close to the (now obviously over optimistic and exaggerated) claims people make in the reviews, lol. my windows experience index disk transfer score went from 5.9 to 7.9, so its about 30% faster than hdd. |

Does this drive have problems with coming out of sleep mode? I bought one to replace the dead hard drive in my mom's MSI A6000 laptop, and when I try to wake the PC up from sleep mode, the screen is just blue (not a BSOD) flickering screen. The blue flickering screen looks like the screen in the background when windows is loading after the black Windows 7 splash screen.
I did some research, and the only results I could find were two year old discussion board threads about how SSD's have problems with sleep mode, and you should always disable sleep mode with SSD's. Is that still the case? |

My score is maxxed on the 830. Did you switch to AHCI? That doubles the speed of the drive. http://forum.crucial.com/t5/Solid...td-p/57078 |

not sure what you mean by maxxed, according to Microsoft website "In Windows 7, the maximum score is 7.9" I see no reference to a score called "maxxed". |
