Yep, Origin is showing $29.99 for me as well.

Called this game bargainware from the first announcement. All MMOs simply cannot compete with with WoW or Guild Wars 2. Even SWTOR went F2P after like 6 months.

Ok, first, you're confusing GOG with GMG. Second, that's only prices, which were all over multiple deal sites. I was looking for numbers to back up your claim that "people still go to Steam". Steam doesn't have anywhere near a monopoly on digital distribution sales. In fact I would say they're falling behind. I've bought the majority of my games from Amazon, GMG, or GOG lately.

Additionally, most of the games will still be Steamworks games, where even if you buy them from another vendor, the code to activate the game must be used on Steam. It's one of the least intrusive DRMs and it has handy features that people want. It's not really shocking that people want most, if not all, of their games under the best option.

For future reference, even if you buy this from steam, you're still registering a separate login for tsw. So the accounts under one roof thing isn't really a applicable here.

TOR, F2P? More like Pay 2 Play So many restrictions if you don't pay to unlock--sure, you can complete the storylines, but even basic equipment is locked by default!
