HTC EVO Design 4G for Boost Mobile $149.95

Got mine in today, wow this phone is fast. It even Bluetooth pairs with your old phone to get all your contacts etc. again remember that these are native to ICS so they are fast. The old gingerbread versions suffered sluggish performance after the update. These do not suffer from that issue.

These are now $179 and the $20 coupon code is still valid, making it $159.

The phone arrived today - how the HELL do you activate this stupid god-forsaken pieces of garbage?????
If you dial 611 from the phone, it says you can't dial 611 because the phone isn't activated! Then it says dial 888-266-7848 from another phone, and when you do that it wants your Boost mobile phone number and hangs up on you when you don't have one!!! I'm super-duper pissed off!!

Anyone figured this out?

If you haven't figured it out yet, use the boost mobile website. Way easier than dealing with automated phone systems or other humans.

I know that is how they want everyone to do it, but that didn't work for me because I was doing two phones, transferring numbers from Sprint, and the phones were on a family plan. So I absolutely HAD to speak to an actual person.

Still pretty mad about what I had to do, but just in case anyone else needs to do the same, here is how I got a person. Dial 800-BOOST4U. Choose option two, enter in a random string of 10 numbers. Won't recognize you and do it again. Then will say its having a hard time finding you and will say its transferring you to a person. Now, in my case, for some reason it went from that to "enter your account pin", which I didn't have, so I chose the option for them to send it to me. It said it would and I could press 9 for the main menu or hang up, and then if I pressed 0 here it connected me with a person. Then of course I had to wait 30 minutes to get transferred to a person that would do the number transfer but I finally got them.

Boost sure doesn't like it when you want to talk to a person, that's for sure.
