Thanks OP. Next to the mattress is a pretty good price on the Norelco electric shaver, after rebate.

(By the way, do we really need to read about baby effluence in such exacting detail? If a diaper doesn't work, we can all get a pretty good picture of what happens, without making the rest of us lose our lunch!)

I spent the money on a Temperpedic Cloud when they first introduced it and after laughing about the ridiculous price we paid for a bed for weeks, we can now say, after a few years, it was one awesome investment. We hit every mattress and furniture store in town and tried every generic made and none felt like the Temperpedic. No mattress store can discount them more than 10% and since every store in town has to charge the same price, you have some flexibility with negotiation. Free delivery, two temperpedic pillows, gortex mattress pad (protects the foam from breakdown from sweat), and free same day shipping are all extras you should try to get thrown in for free.

We also went to the mall and had a sleep number rep run through their bed with us laying on it. I was expecting something pretty substantial. However, to me, and remember I went in with a positive attitude about it, it felt like a really overpriced air mattress. Something along the lines of a nice aerobed ect.

I was surprised when I went into my Costco a week ago and say a display of a Temperpedic. I think it was the basic model and it was $1400 (Queen maybe?).
