Say I havent used the camera in 3 months and the battery has lost its charge. Now I cant use the camera and have to charge the batt first. For AA I can put in another set of batteries and get it running.

I have the camera now from the deal 2 weeks ago. I just took it on vacation with me last weekend to Seattle, so I got to test it out.

The camera is so-so. Takes 5+ seconds to repower every flash. Slow loading when image viewing on the camera (5+ seconds) as compared to my Canon SD1300IS from two years ago. Menu and settings are a bit of a hassle, not as easy to navigate as Canons. Auto-focus sometimes doesn't focus very well.

Only good thing I like about this camera is the 10X zoom and it has an auto-panoramic setting that's easy to use. But the pixels do come out blurry in panorama.

For $69, it's not a bad camera. It's worth the price. But I just prefer Canons better. I'll be going back to my Canon and giving this camera to my parents.

Pretty spot on review. I have it as well from the last deal. If I had a newer Canon, I would not get this camera, but since I'm using a 4 Megapixel Canon Powershot Elf from 6 years ago, it's just time to upgrade it.
