Symantec Rebates - "Your rebate request did not pass our audit process"

Emails from Symantec rebate notification are pouring in as I speak (five emails in the last 30 min), and they all seem fine (valid and waiting for final processing).

Norton Internet Security 2013-3 PCs@Frys $30+$20 upgrade (mailed on 1/18)
Norton IS/Utilities/Online backup bundle 3U@OD $80+$25 upgrade (mailed on 1/22)
Norton Antivirus 2013- 1 PCs @OD $15 upgrade (mailed on 1/22)

Could it be that Parago has fixed the issue with Symantec now? Anyone got audit error since 1/25?

As long as it says its Valid now, you have no issues.

I have no problem with my last Symantec rebate which was submitted in early December, however, I had a big problem with the Sony Video Studio rebate which includes the competitive upgrade on the same form for a total of $100 (free after rebate). They first said "missing UPC". When I chat with them, they said there is a copy of UPC with the submission. I insisted it is the original UPC which I peeled off from the box. They transferred the case to a special team for investigation. A couple weeks later, the status changed to valid. Otherwise, I may need to fight with Fry's.

Out of all the rebate processors I would say parago is the second best. The most reliable so far has been 4myrebate, which new egg hardware vendors like to use.

Second that. And I will avoid myrebateonline the best I can. No record of my submission two months after mail-in. I have submitted over 100 rebates to Parago in the last three months and none is missing, and I only did two rebates with myrebateonline and both were lost? Unbelievable. Also they deleted my online account for no reason, and lied to me that the account was still there.

Sorry to be OT, but have anyone received rebates in the past three months from status-now, Kaspersky rebates in particular? All my rebates from November say still in process (except one or two Nero rebates which have shipped out now). IIRC, Kaspersky rebates used to be very fast (like in a month).

In my experience, Kapersky has been terribly slow but I haven't had one denied yet

Kaspersky usually takes close to 3 months to get back.

Regarding Kaspersky rebates, check your tracking if it's been 3 months and you haven't received your rebate. I can no longer track some of my rebates. When I contacted status-now, the response I got is that my account is being audited for doing too many.

I did the same rebate and it has yet to show up in their system. I'll give it another week And f not I'll call them.

Regarding the smith micro rebates I was able to call them and ask for a supervisor and they validated the anime studio rebate. This was after they denied it over chat.

I completely agree. If I get a chance today I'll draft up a letter and let you guys review and edit as you wish.

It has recently come to my attention that several of my rebates offered on your product have recently been denied. The reason stated is that my "rebate request did not pass our audit process". After speaking with the rebate processing company, I have been informed that they have not been able to authorize my rebate under your direction. I am confused about what audit process my rebate request needs to pass since nothing on the rebate form indicates that there is any audit process at all. I have meet all of the stated requirements on rebate form and I am respectfully requesting that you honor my rebate submittal. I enjoy using your companies products and appreciate your rebate offers but will be forced to find an alternate if this is matter is not resolved. I am also prepared to file and compliant with my states attorney general as well as the better business bureau if a resolution can not be reached.
