Graceful exit from T-mobile ETF?
Well, here's the situation. My wife has the $80 unlimited data phone plan from t-mobile and was able to expense it. She recently upgraded to a Samsung galaxy s3 3 months ago and recently her job no longer allows her to expense her phone bill. I would like to cancel the contract so I have to eat the $200 ETF fee so i would like to know the best way to do it.
I would like to get Straight Talk and transfer the current t-mobile phone # to google voice but I don't want to have my account flagged or have my phone blacklisted for some reason. So if I were to transfer my phone to google voice without calling t-mobile, they would slap me with a $200 ETF and that would be it? Or should I call t-mobile to cancel the contract and hope that they would allow me to have my phone # to google voice?
One last question, assuming that I can get my t-mobile version of galaxy s3 unlocked, would you guys recommend me getting the t-mobile sim or at&t version of straighttalk?
