Thought this was a repost....but Selma-Bot had $55 in the title.
Anyone know if this comes with at least a starter toner cartridge ? |

Never mind....found on the Ricoh website.
Comes with a starter toner that yields 500 pages. Toner is not cheap for this thing ! Even on E-Bay, the 1,200 yield toner costs $50 !!! Yikes ! That's freekin 4 cents a page ....for a laser printer. Not good. Last edited by bigpollack; 01-24-2013 at 07:50 AM.. |

In for 1. Ricoh is a good brand and this is 70 bucks cheaper then anywhere else i can find it. Plus with free shipping not too bad

Not sure of Ricoh but have been very happy with my Brother 2240 Slickdeals I got a while back. After printing probably 1000+ pages, I replaced the starter with a generic I got for $16. You can get the later model which is 2270 on sale quite frequently here for about $50-$60 or less

Even though this isn't a laser, I decided on getting this. [bestbuy.com]
The big selling point for me is that you can get 10 ink cartridges for it for only $7 from amazon. [amazon.com] |

REALLY got to watch the price on these toners! Laser toner used to be cheap but what they have done is drop the price on laser printers and jacked up the price on toner! I almost bought a really nice HP COLOR LASER printer for $175 at Office Max but I went over to the toners and each cartridge was $89!!! I needed 3 color (cyan, yellow, magenta) and 1 black which would have ended up costing more than the printer!!! NOT WORTH IT!!!
